Comfy bed, a table for two looking out at the big maple treetop (with a few hints of the ocean beyond), kitchenette has a bar sink, fridge for your leftovers/bevys, and a microwave to heat them up! It’s on the 3rd floor, so you’ll be getting your workout! Red chairs on the front yard are for guest use- enjoy the fresh air and ocean breeze! Very clean, bright space.

This is one of two, two bedroom cottages located on Rutherfords Island in South Bristol, Maine. These cottages are next to each other.Our electricity is provided by our grid tied solar array. We are a five minute walk from the Atlantic Ocean, the Damariscotta River, and John's Bay. South Bristol is a small town 14 miles from Damariscotta,where the closest grocery store is located. We are a working fishing village, and lobsters and fresh fish are readily available at the local lobster pounds.

Stay at Lobster Camp cabins and step back in time. Breathe in the salty air from the deck of your cabin perched on the edge of a true working harbor. Hear the low rumble of boats and watch lobster fishermen unloading their catch. So close to the harbor you feel a part of the action, even from inside. The Halibut, a vintage 1960's 2 bedroom cabin retains its old school charm with minor updates for comfort. 4 cabins in total, this is the 2nd from the water. The view looks like a postcard.

"Ship Shape": waterfront, cozy studio- downtown

Located in a historic 200 year old building "Ship Shape" is close to downtown but on a quiet tree-lined residential street. It is just one block to the library, bookstore, post office and all the lovely shops. It is on the shore of the Damariscotta River with wonderful views from inside and out.. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the light, the outdoor space, and the comfortable bed. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

This is a fabulous place to be if you want to get away from everything! It was incredibly quiet and a great place to watch the tides come and go. We needed a couple of very quiet days after being on the road for over a week, and this was perfect. We got lots of quiet and rest. We brought our food in, and it was easy to cook for ourselves and clean up. The bathroom with the tub and shower were amazing and the pictures don't do it justice.

This was my second stay at Joy's studio, and I can't wait to return. It's warm and comfortable, and perfect for bird watching. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and organized - I love to cook here. I stayed here during a cold and rainy spell in New England, so I didn't get out as much as I did last time I stayed. But, if you're going to be stuck inside, this is the place to be - especially with all of the art supplies and books Joy has available. A truly wonderful place to be!

This Harbor View Cabin is private, quiet (except for the birds!), peaceful, with an outstanding ocean view, and a path down to the water's edge. When the breeze is right, you can hear the surf on the rocks and the bell buoy in the harbor. The cabin is fully equipped for cooking. The working lobster fishing cove is in walking distance, as is Shaw's restaurant/lobster pound. This is the ideal Maine coast place and I can't wait to go back!!

Cute cottage- main room with two bedrooms. Great location for walking along the water and easy to get to market and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood with birds chirping, chipmunks and wild turkeys running around. Ocean breezes and the thick comfortable mattresses made sleeping at night instantaneous. You being your own bed sheets and bath towels which is fine- this is the least expensive place around. Save some money on the restaurants by stocking up at the market a 5 minute drive away. Great places to eat but be ready to pay $30-80/per person when going out.
