Holiday rentals with beach access in Newport Bay

Great spot with so many restaurants and coffee spots and the beach within walking distance. The place is cozy and bright — a delightful beach-town studio. There’s definitely some traffic noise (as described) but the white noise machine was perfect at night and we slept soundly. Definitely recommend!

Great stay! There is everything you could possibly need for a beach stay. Pam was so helpful and had lots of good suggestions. The location was perfect. Just a block and a half from the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. Bed was super comfy and the space was perfect. Didn’t use the patio much but that also was a nice addition. Will def be staying again!!

Will was a very responsive host and had great recommendations for the area. Just be aware that since this is an attached space to the next-door neighbors, the sound from upstairs is a bit prominent like footsteps/loud sound. Couple of knick knacks like the shower door and fridge door were to be fixed, but that was acknowledged to be repaired. Otherwise, I would love to stay here again.

Brandon was incredibly accommodating throughout our entire trip, and the experience was fantastic. Everything - from the kitchen and bathroom to the bedding was clean and comfortable. I would definitely love to stay at his place again.

A quaint little house, with a short walk to the beach. The area is beautiful to walk and close to restaurants. Great stay.

The place was exactly as described and we felt incredibly comfortable. They had a cute set up and the pool was clean. The host were lovely and efficient. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back.

Wonderful spot. Quiet and peaceful. Easy access to highways/amusement parks. Walking distance to restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend if you are planning to stay in the area.

LOCATION! The beach is a 1 min walk, and with our 4 little kids it truly made the trip! We also loved having laundry in the unit and everything we needed for the beach. We used the beach chairs, umbrellas and towels and the kids loved all the beach toys there were to bring! The unit was super clean, spacious, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook, but you really don’t need to because there are so many great walkable eateries! Definitely would stay again and recommend to families or anyone who wants the convenience of walking to the beach/ restaurants!

The cottage was so cute and spacious for us. We are literally 2 min away from the sand. Beds were comfortable. The only thing that stood out were how thin the blinds were in the upstairs bedroom. At night. You can see the outside lights and see the lights on every car that passes by as well. On our first night the neighbors to the left of us were loud. And on our last night the neighbors that arrived to the right of were super loud . We had to close our front door at some point. Other than that. We enjoyed the space.

Jay’s place was a perfect spot on Newport Peninsula. We walked everywhere ! Beach only 5 min walk down the street. We loved it was right across the street from Pavilions grocery, lots of places to eat and also Lido Marina! Location perfect, clean, lots of space, loved the 3 bedrooms & 2 baths and big kitchen! We will be back for sure! Great spot for my family! Thank you Jay! 🌟👏🙌❤️😘

What a wonderful stay!! This property was just perfect for our family holiday re living memories from years past. Such a beautiful cozy home. The decor and furniture were high quality and comfortable. We loved the balcony!! We spent mornings, afternoons and evenings outside and captured a number of great family photos with the water and trees as the backdrop. The kitchen was well stocked and the bbq was great. Beds very comfortable. Space was perfect for our adult family of 7. We loved the location and a peaceful street. Garage was very much appreciated making coming and going easy. We hope that we can return again soon !!

Location is just prime for the price. I will be back and highly recommend. Having a garage spot was a huge selling point given the limited parking spaces during busy weekends. Todd was very responsive and super helpful. Again, Location, location, location!

Wonderful property as described with even better hosts! Richard was communicative leading up to our stay and made it an easy check in when meeting us on the property. Lots of provided amenities for the kids and can’t beat the location. Would highly recommend and will visit again soon!

Great place to stay for our Beach/Disney vacation. Just a block from the beach and 25 minutes to the parks. And everyone at HappiTravels was helpful— answered our questions and were there when we called.

This unit within Hamilton Cove has been our best vacation yet. The views from the balcony were stunning. The entire unit felt clean and was very spacious for me and my now wife. The golf kart was a plus - it was a short 5-8 minute ride into downtown. Hosts were responsive. Definitely will be coming back to stay here again!!

We had a wonderful visit. The view was absolutely amazing! It reminded me of Santorini, Greece. My daughters said the view from your home was their favorite part of their trip too! Close to town but felt far away…Thank you!!

What a little slice of heaven you have here on Balboa!! Magnificent views, perfect location, tidy and roomy…love the stained glass accents. My daughter will be moving back to Costa Mesa later in the year, so I hope to stay here again. Thank you so much!

Only recommendation Let people know cant get in till 4 exactly. Got there at 3.57. Combinations did not work until 4. Everything else great

We had a great stay! The apartment was lovely and comfortable. It was near to places and people that we wanted to see while there. Cynthia was a very helpful and friendly host!

The place is so peaceful and steps away from the beach. As other reviewers have mentioned, can hear the sound of the waves from the space. Sheryl is awesome and responsive. The apartment itself is so clean and well-equipped.

Tiffany is an incredible host. She is easy to communicate with and was proactive informing you of what to expect, easy instructions both checking in and out, as well as recommendations. She answered any questions I had in a timely matter to. The golf cart is a great addition as well to easily get to Avalon. Bottom line up front everything was very simple so that my girlfriend and I were able to fully enjoy our stay on the island. The villa was beautiful just like the pictures. It was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend booking with Tiffany at her villa in Hamilton Cove. Just a heads up if you’re going to eat on the balcony don’t leave any food unattended for a second or the birds will swoop it. They’re watching and waiting for an opportunity. Happened to me lol. Thank you again Tiffany for making our trip so much easier to enjoy.

Had a nice stay with Megan, the room had the beach nearby and a neighborhood filled with restaurants to enjoy! Even was able to accommodate us an extended check out, and was responsive when I had questions during checking-in. The only thing I would have to nit pick would be that you have to account for parking as a separate added expense during your stay. A nearby parking garage that had a lot of bad reviews of break-in’s swayed me to use the Air Garage nearby across from the crepe place. Other than that, fantastic stay and amazing experience staying here.
