Holiday rentals with lake access in Nidwalden

The house was huge and had everything we needed. A nice touch was the rice cooker which is hard to come by. Will definitely visit again if I’m in the area. This is the most value for money house that we rented in Switzerland. Giuseppe was always responsive and this is important especially if guests are already in the house and needed help.

Even though we arrived later than the originally scheduled check-in time, the host was very worried that we might not be able to find the house and waited for us until check-in. The host is very kind and thoughtful. The condition of the accommodation is impeccable, and the scenery is even more beautiful than that.. (Actually, I talked about the scenery alone. It looks like a composite even though I'm looking at it with my own eyes. I was really satisfied with the sauna facilities. If the surroundings are too dark, it may be difficult to find, so please pay attention to the check-in time! If you are late like us, you will suffer a lot. Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

We stayed here with a family of 6 and had a great time! We actually are booking it again to return to Germany from Italy. So, would definitely stay again!😊

Well-maintained family home in a prime location by the lake, close to the train station and shopping facilities. There is so much to do - sports, hiking, cycling, lake, museums. Very nice landlords who always have time for you.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

One of the absolute best AirBnBs we’ve ever stayed in. Brienz itself is so beautiful and is close to many other great areas to see such as Jungfrau, Interlaken and Giessbach Falls, but this accommodation made our stay sublime. Jacqueline was extremely responsive as a host and went above and beyond to help with taxi services and even a pair of misplaced spectacles. The house was spacious with a spectacular view and was extremely well set up with everything you might need. There was even a welcome basket of goodies as a special touch which was so welcome. I could not recommend this accommodation highly enough. None of us (6 adults and one 18-month-old) wanted to leave.

We came here for our honeymoon and I will never forget how magical this place was! The views were absolutely stunning — waking up to the turquoise lake and surrounding mountains was unforgettable. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed. The location was peaceful yet close enough to explore nearby towns and hikes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape in nature yet close enough to exciting experiences! 10/10!!

THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM…. PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!! You cannot find a more beautiful place, a more respectful, responsive and hospitable hosts and staff, a cleaner apartment and a more stunning sunset in anywhere else ! The location is great and very peaceful with walking and hiking paths all around, and about 20 minutes away from Luzern ! I can not thank Nathalie and her dad, Mr. Hoffman enough for making our one month stay at their place comfortable, enjoyable and memorable! Our dog was also warmly welcomed and had an amazing time ! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AND WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK TO IT AGAIN!

The place is clean and spacious. The view of the apartment is also beautiful. Raphael is also responsive. Conveniently located near a bus stop, the Rigi tram, the ferry terminal and a small supermarket.

Simone and Pete were fantastic hosts. We loved the location and beautiful surroundings. The size of the place was great, nearby parking was easy and affordable, and being on the lake with easy ability to day trip nearby was a big plus!

We loved our stay here. Well stocked with all you need. The views and porch were the best part, making us feel we didn’t even need to leave to he able to experience Switzerland. Tom was a great host and responded very quickly.

Loved the place and perfect for us. I was travelling with my parents to visit Mt Titlis - this is approx 12 - 15 mins walk to train station and 15 - 20 for Mt Titlis.. beautiful setting, walkable, and close to local shops and restaurants. The place itself was lovely and quiet.. very very clean, high quality linen and all amenities. There was no microwave but oven worked well. The hosts were always available and quick to respond back… highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Hosts are a pleasure, and honestly seem to have thought of everything, definitely admire their attention to detail, and the place was immaculate! Very convenient to Titlis and the train station, and outstanding views!! This place is a must.
