The warehouse has been built for more than 145 years and has been registered as a nationally registered tangible cultural property. The wooden building is also self renovated with the interior of the owner and his friends. It is a private lodging facility where you can feel the history of Niigata in the back of Niigata's narrow paths. Please let us know in advance if you are bringing small children. If you need to sleep together, we can put up a bed or set up a baby gate for safety. You will be handled in person at check-in. At that time, we will explain and book the facility. There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)
