We had a lovely stay. The view was incredible and we felt very relaxed after sleeping here for a few nights. Our new favourite secluded spot! We will be back again soon!!!

Xotic Resort 1005

My experience was amazing. The villa has ten acres of property that I could freely wander around. There are many fruit trees and exotic spices grown on the premises. My room had AC and a private balcony that overlooks the frontyard. The room is nice, and even has a huge mirror, and a wood paneled ceiling. There is a small, shallow pool, with jets, which didn’t have clear water, but was clean enough to use. There was always someone onsite to assist with anything. It’s much quieter than anywhere in the big cities, but you’ll still have to contend with the sounds of nature, cause even the squirrels chirp like birds in the morning 😋 The host, Sudath, is wonderful and kind. He has many contacts in the area to help you with whatever you need, and for me, he was tremendously helpful. When I travel, I only need three things, AC, wifi, and hot water. Xotic had all three, and much more. To see more of the property, check out my YouTube channel “Explore with Stone”

We were a research group from London visiting Wayamba University agriculture faculty. We stayed overnight in this place. The house was spacious and the group had lots of space to discuss things in the evening. We didn't have time to visit any nearby places, but it seemed that the surroundings were peaceful. We cooked our own breakfast because meals had be ordered from outside. We enjoyed it too.

SriBeach Villa and Bungalow

Rohita's villa is great. It is very close to the sea - and the children loved the pool very much. For us, it was an excellent introduction to our Sri Lanka trip, also because it was easily accessible from the airport. We would gladly come back.

Samamukti Freedom Gallery

We loved our stay at Sammamukthi Freedom Gallery. It was the perfect place to land after a long flight. Sajith was a warm and gentle host and made us feel well cared for (and well fed!!) We highly recommend paying the very reasonable price for prepared meals - we dined by beautiful lamplight each night and tried so many delicious curries. This is village life, not a hotel. The village was quiet and peaceful and a beautiful place to take walks. We had lovely conversations with Sajith and his friends and they helped us arrange transportation and get local prices for our necessities. Thank you to all at the Freedom Gallery for welcoming us to Sri Lanka!
