We had a great stay here! Everyone was always super nice and helpful. Restaurants and other things are a ten-minute drive away by tuk-tuk, but you basically have a beautiful beach all to yourself. I recommend this place to anyone.

Quiet spot with the exception of stray dogs, unfortunately encouraged by guests to come on the property. Good beach for swimming 15 minutes by tuk. Pool was fabulous... we more or less enjoyed it by ourselves. Room service meals on the porch were ok but not excellent value for money. Room was not cleaned thoroughly after previous guests. Best feature was the pool. Expensive to get to town by tuk but the tuk driver was good. Pleasant and peaceful environment.

Stunning setting by lagoon that feeds into the sea. At dusk thousands of tiny fish spray the surface & theres abundant birdlife. The pool is big & kept clean. This is in a rural area but about 2km down the road is beautiful Nilaveli main beach, so hiring a scooter was great for me, but you can catch a passing tuk tuk on main road to take you whereever.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing! We had a beautiful view of the sea from our room, a beach almost entirely to ourselves, delicious food, super friendly and attentive staff, and great options for boat trips to Pigeon Island or even to see dolphins and whales. We’d definitely love to come back!

Great little stay. It’s an entire guesthouse so 2 bedrooms with ensuites, kitchen and living space. Host was super responsive and checked on us each day to ensure we were comfortable. Right near beach- I suggest heading to Canberra restaurant for a cleaner part of the beach to sit and swim. Great stay!

We got really lucky with Cbeyond. The location sits right between a lagoon and private-ish beach and away from the more popular parts of Nilaveli. We had a driver to drive us to other beaches if necessary but they are happy to organise tuk tuks if needed. The views from the main seating and food area is stunning. Perfect way to wake up and have breakfast. Very convenient to plan trips as they helped us book trips to Pigeon Island for snorkelling and boat trips out to the harbour. The staff were extremely kind and helpful making our stay feel like we were at home. The food was beyond excellent! Best food we have had in Sri Lanka. Will definitely be back.

This property is out of this world, the view is outstanding and every room has its own unique stunning views of the ocean. The property is surrounded by trees giving it so much shade we had naps outside on the hammocks in the garden. Our kids had a wonderful time, the rooms we chose has a plunge pool and they were in and out of water the entire time. Eric the hotel manager along with the rest of the staff were very helpful and friendly, we had exceptional service from them. We truly felt we were right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a place.

Sanjiv is very helpful and friendly as his entire team Separately, I want to highlight Sarah - I drove us on a tuk-tuk around the neighborhood and on a boat to watch the dolphins, told us where to eat deliciously, was always as friendly as possible. The hotel itself is very calm and quiet, great view of the ocean, chic seafood (huge portions). This is our first time in Sri Lanka and we enjoyed our stay at this hotel with confidence and can definitely recommend Sanjiv.

Great place to stay right on the beach, which was clean and quiet, a good place to escape the crowds. The rooms are spacious and luminous and very clean, with comfy beds. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were delicious. Sam and her staff were extremely kind and accomodating. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place to enjoy the quietness of the beach. If you are lucky, you get to watch monkeys play in the trees right in front of the balcony.
