Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nob Hill, San Francisco

We really enjoyed our stay in Daniel's apartment! Good location (close to good bus lines and attractions), comfortable space, quiet, and well appointed with everything we needed for our weekend visit. Daniel was a very helpful and congenial host. Highly recommended!

My 20 year old son and girlfriend actually are the ones who stayed at Bob's place. They raved about their stay and wished they had booked for more than one night! They HIGHLY recommend staying here and loved the way it was decorated and Bob's welcoming nature and the location sounds perfect for exploring SF by foot! My husband and I will book this place next time we want a San Fran getaway! Thanks for being such a responsive host, Bob, to both me and my son!

Above and beyond does not start to describe the time we had. John and Camellia were truly fantastic hosts. The location has some of the best views that I have ever seen, the neighborhood is both fun and safe. The area is removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown but everything you need is easily accessible. We truly had a wonderful time and could not recommend a better place to stay. Thank you both!

This is a beautiful house in an extraordinary location in San Francisco (steps away from the Presidio, a 20-minute walk to gorgeous views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the National Cemetery, the Golden Gate Park, fabulous restaurants on Clement St, a 30-minute walk to the Lands' End trail, Immigrant Point vista, or a 40-minute walk to many more restaurants and life on Fillmore or Chestnut St.). The house is SPACIOUS - large living and dining rooms, 3 superb bedrooms upstairs, all with that "Victorian" vibe. The house is also super-fully stocked with everything a family might need. Above all, Mark was very responsive in his communication, and very helpful as well. Couple of tiny things that could use improvements: (1) It would be nice if the front porch lights were left ON; our group entered after it was dark and it was a bit of a hassle to operate the lockbox with flashlights from a cellphone. (2) It was a bit hard to find the light switch for the front porch lights.

Lorraine's place is exactly what I was looking for during my stay in SF. The appartment is very cosy, silent, and very well organised. Lorraine is very thoughtful and proposes many things to make you feel at home. Thanks again, and I will come back for sure!

Overall great space for two in a very quiet and safe neighborhood in the city. Parking was also great, we were able to park just a few feet from the Airbnb all three days we were there. Just keep in mind that the hosts live in the unit above the Airbnb, so there was noise coming from that direction during the day-however it was quiet/peaceful during nighttime.

I can not say enough about how rejuvinating it was to stay at Matt's stunning home in Mill Valley. Our ONLY regret was that we did not stay for long enough. Matt is extremely kind, open and responsive. Waking up in the trees, taking a dip in the tub with morning coffee, and watching the deer walk by was our favorite past time. We took afternoon walks along the tree lined trail right in the back yard which was an incredible perk. Once you are there, you never truly never want to leave. The beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure is great and the home is stocked with all the amenities you might need. We stopped at Whole Foods on our way in to stock up for the first few meals --- we were so glad we did that and highly recommend. The house is located up the winding roads and then 100 stairs to climb up, but that is what makes it the spectaular experience it is. We can't wait to get back. Thank you, Matt!

Die Unterkunft ist exakt wie beschrieben. Es ist ein sehr charmantes altes Haus mitten in San Francisco. Die Straße ist tatsächlich sehr steil und parken kann etwas schwierig sein. Wir haben das Auto nach Ankunft abgestellt und die Stadt zu Fuß erkundet (bzw. längere Strecken per Uber zurückgelegt). Die Kommunikation mit Keith war super einfach und freundlich. Die Wohnung hat viele Treppen und zieht sich über 3 Etagen, das macht aber auch den Charme aus. Für ein paar Tage in San Francisco ist es eine sehr zu empfehlende optimale Unterkunft.

Kenneth’s place was awesome. It was a quiet neighborhood with cute cafes and restaurants. The Airbnb was well-appointed with an excellent view. We’d definitely recommend!

Barbara was one of the best hosts, if not the best, that I have encountered over my many years of travel. She was responsive to messages and was just so polite and friendly with recommendations and tips for navigating San Francisco. The little touches of snacks and special drinks were really appreciated. The room decorations with the wine histories / business books and mid-century furniture and lighting made for a wonderful space to relax in. The bed was very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! Toni and Philip were so kind and helpful. The apartment was perfect for my spouse, myself, and 17 month old. There are great restaurants within walking distances and perfect access to different sites around SF. We stay at a lot of AirBnb’s and this was a great experience. We hope to return. We stayed in a room which had a small kitchen attached to it with private bathroom and it was perfect for our longer 9N stay. James is very responsive, took care of all our requirements and requests. The location is uphill but you get used to it. Bernal heights is a at walkable distance which is a must do for exceptional bird-eye’s view of SF. The place is comfortable, with a cute balcony and well equipped kitchen. Thank you James for making our stay memorable!!

We were staying in San Francisco for a big surgery and this was such a lovely place to recover in. Very cozy and comfortable, and Allison was very friendly and very communicative. Her instructions for everything were very helpful and covered just about everything. Although the door to the apartment itself was a bit difficult to open and that was the only thing not listed on the instructions. It was very nice having access to quite a few streaming services on the tv as well given that we were inside for most of the stay. The router did go out a couple of times but there were notes on how exactly to reset it and was quite easy. Lots to do around the place and even more accessible with a short drive. Everyone we interacted with was also super friendly. Overall I highly recommend, Allison was a great host :) thank you so much

Supada's place was the perfect spot for what we needed. It was quiet, offered walkable access to everything, and was by far the most reasonably priced Airbnb in the area. Also, Superhost indeed! The communication was always clear and timely. Thank you, Supada!

Tom was an excellent host. He left clear instructions and was very accessible and responsive. The place was almost nice and comfortable in a very secure building with acgeee to a fitness center.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our visit to San Francisco, this is why we came back for our 2nd stay at this apartment. The apartment was a real gem - peaceful, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location. Absolutely loved the beautiful views, both from outside and inside the unit. It was the perfect setting to unwind after a long day of sight seeing! The apartment was spacious and thoughtfully furnished, with everything we needed readily available. Logan and Steph were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful, and attentive. Their communication was excellent, and they really made us feel welcome. A big thank you to both Logan and Steph for such a memorable and comfortable stay. We will be booking to stay with you for a 3rd time in the future for sure!

This place is stunning and exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I was blown away when I arrived; the listing photos don’t do it justice! It felt like home with all the thoughtful touches and amenities Pam provides (well above and beyond the norm). I loved the spa-like bathroom and had some of the best sleep of my life in the super comfy bed. A truly cozy, peaceful, relaxing stay in a beautiful neighborhood! Pam is a wonderful host who puts great care into providing helpful, detailed information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. I hope to be back!

Travis is the best!! His place is in an awesome location, he was super responsive, and it was a great set up for a week + stay. Super grateful it was open when I needed it. Highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Modern appliance, extremely spacious, well stocked with top of the line linens etc. Location is top notch as well. We happened to run into Ken who was a gracious host. I would love to stay in this unit when I come back to San Francisco .

Eileen and Simon were fantastic hosts. They were always responsive and gave great recommendations for eateries. We also forgot to pack face wash, and he was very responsive and accommodating in letting us use a bottle of his. 10/10 would recommend

Really wonderful experience all around. Our hosts were so kind, proactive, and gracious; and the apartment was perfectly clean, well stocked, and comfortable. We had absolutely zero issues with noise or privacy, and were always able to find street parking relatively nearby. We also really appreciated the host's recommendations about restaurants and local things to do. We were traveling with our 8 month old, and the hosts were able to provide us with a travel crib and high chair. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was impeccably clean, very quiet, and cozy. It's in a prime location with plenty of outdoor activities and restaurants just a short walk away. Plus, Andrew was super communicative and offered excellent local recommendations and tips!
