Outside, under the stars, you can enjoy a Jacuzzi for 5 people. The water is cleaned by the owner. There are several terraces with outdoor furniture, barbecue hut, woodshed, pizza oven and gas grill. In summer it is possible to rent a small boat without an engine for 30 euros.

The property has been significantly upgraded in recent years and is currently used for vacation and recreation. The cabin is located by the sea and in the immediate area you will find beautiful nature trails, mountains with spectacular views, possibility of sea fishing and great skiing in winter. Her finner du sandstrender, vakker natur og familievennlige fjellturer. Hytta ligger 1 times kjøring fra Tromsø og 5 minutters kjøring fra Sommarøy. Butikk, sandstrand og lekeplass i umiddelbar nærhet. Sommarøy byr på kajakk, SUP, båtturer, fisketurer, restaurant og gatekjøkken. Leies ikke ut på vinteren pga ingen vann og brøyting.

These 3 beds are best suited for children/teenagers. The cabin is about 7 min drive from the store, about 20 min drive from the surf spot Unstad and about 35 min drive from the golf course on Gimsøya.

The legend tells that the famous Norwegian Viking chief Tore Hund (“Thor the Hound”) had his reindeer on the island and from that time the island is called Dyrøy - the animal island.
