We choose this place because if we wil take early flight. Also find that it is very worth the be here! Room is very cosy, you can directly have Mountain view in the living room. You can walk nearby, it is a wonderful and peaceful town. Enda and Bosse are dearly nice host, we ask several questions, they drive here to tell us. I wish we could stay long.

Beautiful location, cosy hut. Everything you need. Schedule on the day of departure that you not only have to clean, but also wash and hang the linens.

This is the nicest Airbnb I've ever been to. It was so peaceful and nice. Got peace of mind. I was a little skeptical that there was no electricity or water, but it worked great and Ulrikke had made it cozy☺️. Everything was very much on the supply side here. Woolen socks were put out, towels, small battery-powered lights, etc. Very romantic place. The view was absolutely incredible, here you can sit on the porch and enjoy. 🤩 You come into contact with nature here. The roads to the boathouse have great views over mountains and water from both south and north. A great trip! Thanks for this time, I hope I get the opportunity to come back!

We are so grateful to have had such a long stay in this house: the wonderful view to the see and the mountains in the changing light and colours was so beautiful - also the natural surrounding of the house - unforgetable! The house inside is very tastfully furnished - the kitchen perfect. We could feel, that Kundan lived here - sometime ago. Very friendly and accommodating host couple. We spent four wonderful weeks in this very nice accommodation. The service was perfect. The hostess even took us on her dog walks. Not only were we thrilled, but our dog Buddy also felt at home from the start and picked up his treats day after day. The personal excursion tips were also particularly valuable. A nice and spacious apartment with everything you need, making cooking easy. Beautiful decor, plenty of blankets, and extra points for the fantastic sheets. There was a waterfall in the yard, and it was fun to watch the harbor life from the windows. You could conveniently park your car in the yard. The store was nearby. Thank you Kine!

This was one of the nicest places we've ever been to. We loved the view of the sea, were able to watch oyster fishers, seagulls, eagles and otters from the sofa. In the immediate vicinity we saw moose and reindeer. It was great! The place is very thoughtful with a lot of love for detail. We will be back at any time.

Jamies van was just what we needed. It was perfect to see Lofoten on our own pace and explore wherever we wanted. The bed is comfortable which is all you really need.

FOR a place!!!! I felt an immediate calm as soon as I entered the house. The house is large and absolutely beautiful!! It was good and warm, nice decor and lacked nothing. There's a piano on the second floor, and I loved it! I can't play, but I really enjoyed sitting by it and "playing" while I looked out over Vefsna. Absolutely magical!! I have already decided to go back next spring/summer, and then I will stay more than just 2 days. I really recommend both the house and the hosts here!!!

We have immensely enjoyed our stay here! It is a very cozy cottage and the view from the terrace is fantastic! The midnight sun is so much fun. Highly recommended!

We were very lucky - we enjoyed mountain hikes in beautiful May weather and this fisherman’s cabin which was such a lovely surprise! It was as it is described and much more. It was very spacious, right on the water, had incredible views and everything we needed. The location was also very convenient - close to everything but a bit away so very romantic. We were allowed to spend 8 days in Kathrine's beautiful house. The location, tranquility and view are unique. The whole house is very clean and maintained. You immediately feel comfortable, which is why a rainy day is no problem. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, so you can easily cater for yourself. The coffee machine and the Sodastream are particularly worth mentioning here. The beds are very comfortable and the Stressless armchairs in the living room invite you to relax. The whirlpool on the terrace with the great view is phenomenal. Kathrine responds to queries within a short time and also proactively passes on information. She informed us about the Artic Run, where we had the opportunity to meet her, which we were very pleased about. We totally enjoyed the days in Kathrine and Glenn's house and hope that we can come back in the winter.

Thank you for a great stay. Communication was great and everything worked without any problems. The location is perfect for hot dogs on the beach or for grilling in general. We were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets right on the water. We'll be back. :)

Fantastic stay with stunning surroundings – highly recommended! This is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Lofoten and want to be in the heart of it all. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and central. Everything was pristine and in perfect condition—no issues at all. My only suggestion would be regarding the curtains: currently there are three separate panels with four gaps that let in light. During the midnight sun, this allows sunlight to enter the room at night. Adding Velcro to secure them or switching to one or two blackout panels would help. I personally prefer a pitch-dark room for sleeping. Aside from that, everything was excellent—wonderful host, beautiful accommodation, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely return.

Great, cozy cottage with magnificent views

We spent two weeks in Norway and the four nights in this beautiful home and area were the highlight of our trip. It is such a special place and this cosy home is very well equipped. Karin and Arild were delightful and responsive hosts. It was no problem to be greeted and shown around the property, even with our late arrival. The location is stunning and if you appreciate nature, views and hiking, you will be very happy here. The house itself has incredible views and the shared spaces and deck are very well set up to make the most of the location. We hiked up the mountain just down the road, explored the foreshore and used this as a great base to explore the greater area. The house was very well equipped. We even made waffles with the waffle-maker provided! Instructions and interactions with the hosts were clear and easy. I hope we can return one day. I will remember our time forever.

This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is so calm, and the views onto the lake never got old. We were here in May and loved watching the light change around the lake and mountains in the distance late into the night. It’s stunning - and such a relaxing place to stay with our family. The house has everything you could need and Tanja is a perfect host. It’s also an excellent position to explore the south, and worth the extra bit of driving for such a peaceful place to stay. I hope we get the chance to come back to the Lofoten Islands, and if we do we would stay here again in a heartbeat!
