There is lovely hiking terrain right outside the cabin door with endless opportunities for nature experiences for small children's feet to experienced mountain people. Right behind the cabin wall there are prepared cross country tracks that can take you far into Hardangervidda or around the local area. Uvdal alpine center is only 10 minutes away by car for speed-loving ski enthusiasts. At the same time, Dagali Mountain Park, Dagali experiences and Langedrag Nature Park can offer exciting experiences.

Hallingkarvet is seen to the north. Here's the sun from early morning to late night. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset to the east, and Hardanger to the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can take advantage of the countless trails and trails in the area
