Take a break and unwind in this peaceful village, 16 km west of Arjeplog. The cottage is surrounded by forest. Across the village road is Sweden's 10th largest lake, Uddjaure. Racksund is a perfect place to start if you are interested in outdoor life, hiking and fishing or just want to listen to the silence. If you are interested in climbing peaks, there are many for both beginners and more experienced climbers. There are maps and information about most of the peaks. 200 meters to the boat launch site

Nice sauna can be rented for 800 sek - needs to be booked at least one day in advance. Takes 4-6 hours to heat. Own car or rental car is required. Or transport by taxi. No bus connection available. Not a real kitchen but you can make some food in a microwave oven (I can get you a 2 plate stove to use outside on the porch), coffee brewer, waterboiler. Good restaurant/pub 100 m, Lule river with beaches 200 m, Shopping area 2,7 km, Bus stop 1.9 km, Airport 8 km, Luleå city 7 km.
