Welcome to the Freeman's Grove Benevolent Society! Artist's apartment/gallery with kitchen, bath, one bedroom, and a sleeping nook. It is an open floor plan, for heating purposes there are curtains (no doors) on the bedroom and sleeping nook. Sleeps 4 people comfortably. The walk from MASS MoCA to the house is flat except the last block which is STEEP! The apartment is a flight and a half off the street, so be prepared for some stairs. A truly unique apartment and cabinet of curiosities. #fgbs

Private guest apartment located on quiet dead end street on 1 acre of tree lined land. Super spacious and full of character , this first floor apartment is centrally located between MassMoCA and MCLA, and only one block from downtown North Adams . The main bedroom has a queen sized bed. The spare room, off of the living room , is smaller but has enough space for a comfy full size bed, and a closet . The pullout sofa in the living room also sleeps 2. A perfect spot for your Berkshire getaway!

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

This is a quiet, 7 unit, newly renovated condominium building. We welcome quiet guests who will appreciate a relaxing stay and be conscious of others around them. We are within walking distance to the countries largest contemporary art museum. The 2nd floor is an open plan divided by the stair case. Each side has a queen bed, its own closet. The full bathroom is shared with the two beds. This is a loft, there are no full walls between the two sides of the loft.

Peaceful Retreat near Unique Animal Encounter

Daniel's place was the perfect home base for our Berkshires getaway. We visited Mass MoCA and loved coming back to this quiet, peaceful retreat. The backyard was especially serene, I enjoyed my morning coffee outside and relaxing by the fire at night. One of my favorite parts was cracking the window open and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the brook out back, pure magic. Daniel was a gracious host, friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. The local charm added so much to the experience, including camels and other farm animals across the street, Farmer Dave is a gem. We'd happily stay here again!

What a great stay we had in the Berkshires thanks to Elliot and Nina's place. The home is beautiful and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay here and hope to someday be back again. Convenient, quiet and private location. Loved the decor and beautiful gardens.

Comfy stay in beautiful old house. Bathroom and kitchen nicely updated. Enjoyed the hilly neighborhood and being able to walk to town. Great place in N Adams for our party of 4 attending a nearby graduation. Would stay again! Matthew easy to communicate with and responsive. House has everything you need for a relaxed stay.

This is a delightful place! It's very near town but off the road so it's quiet. The house is larger than I expected and extremely tranquil and restorative. The sound of the creek just outside the porch is incredible! And Marin was a lovely and responsive host. Highly recommend.

Total GEM!!! Anna's place is in a peacful spot on a quaint little street. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. It's warm and welcoming and immaculately clean. Anna thought of everything to make us feel at home ... fresh cut flowers (WOW), a few welcome beverages in the fridge, a well stocked kitchen with anything you need to cook, etc etc. I think my favorite part was what I presume is original art around the unit. Anna was a pleasure to work with and we thorougly enjoyed our mini respite at her place! A HIGHLY recommend!

Easy, breezy, no fuss experience for a 3 day work trip in June with spouse and 2 y.o. in tow. Great private location for a stompy, chatty toddler. We were barely at the place, but everything was easy and straight forward. On a cool night, the breeze from the window is lovely. Very responsive and helpful host, nothing was complicated.
