The retreat has been carefully designed for tranquility. It features a galley kitchen with a reading nook, a tiled bathroom, and a sweet bedroom with a small private deck overlooking the back yard, trees, and walking path. While the retreat feels rural, it is convenient to downtown, and to the noted hiking trails in the center of the state.

I stayed for one night between locations while traveling. The room was a nice place to wind down and I slept very well that night (it helped that my neighbors were quiet also). Kathy was very proactive and responsive. She often pre-empted my questions and was very friendly. The area is walkable and there are coffee shops about ten minutes away on foot.

Had a short but extremely sweet stay at Pat’s & Joe’s place. The gardens were in full bloom, the space was quiet and peaceful, and it had everything a solo traveler might need. Pat was welcoming and generous with her home. You can tell great care went into creating the space. I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay!
