Waterfront holiday rentals in North Haven

The apartment is beautifully designed, spacious, relaxing, and comfortable. What more could you ask for? We enjoyed our 3-night stay. Read some of the assembled books on birds and enjoyed delicious food at the local restaurants. Alice was a gracious and responsive host. You will truly love staying in her apartment!

Really nice well-kept space. It was very clean! Location was perfect for visiting the area. Private and peaceful! Loved walking down to the river just outside of the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at the Downtown Harbor apartment in the middle of June. The view is beautiful and the apartment is attractive, clean, and comfortably furnished. Larry and Sharon were extremely accommodating and really cared about our experience. Highly recommended to singles and couples visiting this part of the Maine coast.

In short, a unique experience where we met a few extremely friendly people. The property has amazing views of the harbor without noisy working boats. We would out this at the top of our rental experiences.

The apartment was immaculate, and perfect for two people. It was well stocked with dishes, paper products, and towels. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. Nancy and her husband were very friendly and gave excellent suggestions for local restaurants. It would have been nice to have access to a gas grill. We really enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to return in the future.

We had a lovely night at Audray’s place! The location & the views exceed expectations. It was clean, cozy and inviting. Edited to add- not reducing stars for this because we enjoyed the accommodations, but I want other travelers w/ pets to be aware: Audray reached out 24+ hours after we checked out to say her cleaning person reported “an excess of pet hair on furniture and linens than her washing machine could not handle”, and requested we mail her an extra $50 to cover special laundering. We sent $75 on platform instead as we were shocked and sorry to hear this. We found it surprising b/c were in the condo only 14 hours, we immediately covered the furniture w/ pet covers (we brought our own) upon arrival, we covered the beds w/ our own extra top sheets to protect the quilts from pet hair, & we do not let dogs sleep in the beds- we bring pet beds. We have only received compliments on cleanliness & exclusively 5 star reviews from hosts over 7 yrs and 23 stays all w/ multiple pets.

Our stay at The Bee Keepers Cottage was amazing. The property met our needs perfectly and it was super cute and cozy. The host was very responsive and communicative. And for any star gazers out there, the sky on a clear night is mesmerizing.

A lovely, clean, cozy option that’s convenient to LDI, Brooklin, etc. Nancy is a wonderful host, and the place is quiet and peaceful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and quiet time of rest at The Rising Tides. The setting is absolutely serene. It’s very secluded and quiet, the perfect place for a week of rest and relaxation. We went hiking on the Cliff Trail (15 minutes away and a very nice hiking trail), watched the sunrise at the Lands End store on Bailey island (15-20 minutes), and kayaked in the cove. The grill was very nice and we enjoyed cooking on it regularly. The place was very clean and ready on our arrival. The host communicated very clearly. You will need to follow her driving directions as they are very clear and helpful. In our four days there we only saw 1 neighbor - and that was as we were leaving on the weekend. There’s a grocery store only 15 minutes away and we were able to stock up on our way there. Really, this was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. We really enjoyed having a few options of things to do while also being able to just do nothing on our vacation in a quiet place.

Incredible property with jaw-dropping views. I loved watching the tides come in everyday and there's a lot of cool birds and wildlife. The area for feedback I have is that the mattresses are all really firm which made sleeping a little rough. I still rate the property 5 stars and think it's the perfect getaway accommodation for visitors of Acadia. Also the hot tub is nice after sore hiking muscles!

All the previous reviews indicated we would love this location, the setting, the caring of the host....we were inspired to join Airbnb to just be able to stay here!!! The beauty of the surroundings is remarkable and we admire the care taken to keep it in its refined natural state. We are so thankful we took the description and reviews to heart! We now have another great Maine memory!

My family and I had a lovely stay at Dean’s place. It’s just as depicted in the photos with gorgeous ocean views inside and outside. Our two boys had a great time wandering the shoreline hunting for treasure and exploring Acadia daily. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck & even saw a bald eagle one morning! We’d love to return when the boys are older and make use of the kayaks!

This place was located in such a beautiful space. The house was great, spacious, and clean for five of us and the scenery was jaw dropping. We cooked most nights and Michelle had everything we needed. We also loved using the kayaks, hanging out watching the NBA finals from the hot tub and reading on the deck. The drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia was only about an hour away and we would eat late lunches at the variety of restaurants in that area. Schoondic Point is also a must see! Staying at this location was a great way to experience Maine with our family.

Two adults, three kids. Absolutely loved this place. Storybook setting. Our excited kids studied the pictures on the Airbnb app for months before we arrived and picked their rooms out beforehand so they felt very much at home right away. Unique home layout that would have been fun to design, so many windows/natural light. Cooked all our own meals at ‘home’ except for a delicious lobster dinner at Fin & Fern in town. Appreciated the washer/dryer and the hose outside as our kids got good and dirty having a fun time in the sea in both high and low tides. Got up at 4:00am one morning and drove to Acadia and completed 4 good hiking trails starting with the sun rising over the sea. Went back ‘home’ to relax the rest of the day. Got to take a boat ride around the coast and saw so many birds and seals. A lone seal also came right near the house one morning. So quiet and secluded with clean fresh air and an amazing flower garden. Wonderful place to stay and experience wild Maine.

We had a truly unforgettable stay in Penobscot, Maine, and Suzanne’s Airbnb was a big reason why. The view from the property was absolutely stunning — serene, scenic, and the perfect escape from everyday life. Suzanne was an incredibly warm and gracious host who even invited us for breakfast and made us fresh coffee, making us feel instantly at home. Melissa, the property manager, was equally wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Both Suzanne and Melissa went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their kindness made it feel like we were visiting family rather than staying in a rental. I’ll definitely be returning to Suzanne’s place for my next visit to Maine. Highly recommend this beautiful spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and heartwarming getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was impeccable with an incredible view of the ocean. We had everything we could want. Marsha was a wonderful host and we’re so glad we stayed here!

Great home in a great location. Very spacious and clean and Corey was very responsive. We had 0 problems with there being a restaurant down stairs. Beautiful views of the bay and a near by field where we watched little kittens playing with each other! It was adorable. We slept great and felt right at home!

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place, totally renovated, spacious, cozy, and comfortable. It is located in a very beautiful area. We will be back for sure!

We rented both the Toddy House and Rocky House for a week for our family of 12. The houses were as described and in pristine condition. We loved the fact that they were close together, so the late night group could stay up socializing, while the children could be put to bed without distraction. The Toddy House had a pool table which provided lots of late night entertainment. It also had a large open common area to accommodate our group, and we spent a lot of time on the screened porches. We really liked the access to the water with the dock, the canoes and kayaks, and the super cool fire ring. We are the type of family that asks a lot of questions, and Mark was quick to answer and take care of any questions or issues we had. We spent a great deal of time at Acadia, and while the drive was about 45 minutes to get there, it was not a problem at all. We would definitely return to 3Havens if we decided to take another vacation in this area. Mark and Laurie were excellent hosts.

We had a wonderful stay in Ted's place. It has amazing views and the unit is well stocked with all necessities. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

This place is absolutely amazing. It was larger than expected. It looked smaller in the pictures. Everything in the apartment was squeaky clean and we had every single thing we needed, from pots and pans to board games. Great ocean view from the porch, the living room and from one of the bedrooms. I loved seeing the boats pass by. So peaceful! I stayed there with my elderly mom, my teenage daughter and her friend for 4 days. There was so much to do! We enjoyed both the outdoor and the indoor pool. The kids took advantage of the Health Club by playing ping pong, badminton and going to the video game room. They also spent several hours playing chess in a very nice room near the lounge area that had a gorgeous ocean view. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant in the resort and were impressed by the amazing view. Great service. We also enjoyed the long walk to the lighthouse right next to the resort, and loved going to Camden, such a charming little town, 10 minutes away. The hostess, Laurie, was very accommodating, super nice, and communicated with me frequently, making sure I had all the answers I needed. I would definitely go back there! Glad to have made such wonderful memories! We didn't want to leave!
