Farmstay holiday rentals in North Holland

We really enjoyed our stay! After a long day of traveling, we greatly appreciated the quiet and beautiful surroundings, especially the extremely comfortable beds! The only issue we encountered was that the previous guests had left the downstairs windows open, resulting in a lot of flies inside the house. Esther's team tried to remove as many flies as possible before our arrival, and they provided us with an electric fly swatter to handle the remaining ones. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Amsterdam or the Abcoude area!

Saskia and Tijmen are such loving and warm hosts. The apartment is beautifully quiet and the small garden is fantastic. It is a really nice retreat for two, we enjoyed it very much. The apartment is very clean and everything is available, we could even borrow bicycles for free. With the bicycles, we also went on a tour along the Haarlemmer Meer, to Haarlem and to the coast (all doable). The area is very beautiful, the city of Haarlem is well worth seeing and there is much to discover along the Haarlemmer Meer. We will be happy to come back. Thank you for a great time

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

We had a very nice stay at Ton's place. Very quiet place, perfect to rest and to discover Nordholland, its mills and its polders.

Ideal accommodation to be close to Amsterdam and other Dutch cities to visit. We parked at a P+R to go to Amsterdam. Bikes available, pleasant hosts, beautiful environment.

Our stay in this house was wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable and well decorated. We especially enjoy the tranquility of the environment and its excellent situation to visit Amsterdam and the beautiful surrounding villages. The host was very friendly and attentive, with immediate response and giving us many recommendations to see and how to move around the area. No doubt an experience we would not repeat. We definitely recommend this house.

Frank and Celia are very welcoming and give you good tips on the activities or eateries nearby. The cottage is neat, stylishly decorated and quietly located in a cul-de-sac street. Everything has been thought of, you will not be short of anything. The area is also great for cycling or hiking trips. Beautiful home and its surrounding is soo nice

We had a really great time at this place! The location was very peaceful and calm. The house had all amenities we needed. The yard was lovely to sit and relax and our dog enjoyed there as well especially with the goats, chickens and the owner's dog! It was a first time caravan experience and it is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation! Esther, Michel and their kids were extremely friendly, responsive and gave us lots of local recommendations. We felt right at home :) Would visit again!

We were with 4 friends for a weekend in the house. From arrival, we were incredibly surprised by the surroundings, the house, garden and interior,.. great!! Every room, even the hallway and toilet, has been given a lot of attention. I would recommend this house to everyone. Contact was also very good. Quick, nice, helpful and super nice. Felt very familiar. From the house, you can go anywhere. The beach, the city, the villages and the beautiful nature where you can cycle beautifully. All in all, had a great time. super thanks!!!!

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

This is by far one of our favorite Airbnb rentals! The home is comfortable, the location amazing, and the view from the back patio serene. The community is very walkable and provides a quiet place to see canals, ducks, swans, etc. There are restaurants, ice cream, and shops a bike ride (or short drive) away. The home is exactly as Maddy Christine and Tim describe. It has everything needed and more! Book it...you won't regret the calm that this space can provide after a long day of sight-seeing!

We really liked it, we were lucky with the weather. Everything in the area is easily accessible by bike. We would have loved to have stayed.

Jaap’s home was very comfortable, well designed and decorated and in a peaceful, pretty setting in Bussum. Jaap was extremely helpful, very proactive and gave us advice and assistance. He is friendly and hospitable and helped to make our stay enjoyable. The travel into Amsterdam was straightforward by train and a 15 minute walk from the home. We would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay outside the city in a relaxed neighbourhood.

We had a pleasant stay. Communication was great - all questions got answered quickly. They gave us maps where to park for free as well as places to visit around the area. It was very peaceful and actually quite cool inside despite 30 degrees weather. Location was great and you could get to the city by bus super quickly! Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at Annemarie’s place. It’s in the most idyllic location, the bikes were such fun to use to ride to the grocery store and surrounding areas. Really accessible from the airport and to Amsterdam. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Karin's accommodation is wonderful. It is strategically great, as the surrounding towns/cities are not far away. You can easily reach them on foot or by bike. The accommodation is as described and is quiet and somewhat remote. We felt very comfortable. Karin was a very pleasant host. Thank you again for everything.

Our stay in the ecological tiny house with mini farm was really a dream. From the first moment we felt welcome, especially by Joyce, the warm, caring and sincere hostess who makes this place even more special 💛 The tiny house is cozy and cleverly furnished, completely in harmony with nature. Outside, an oasis of peace awaits: whistling birds, roaming chickens and goats with character (we were almost inclined to take them home with us😄). 'In the evening, we enjoyed the hot tub under the starry sky and let all the tension melt away in the sauna. A place where you can completely disconnect. Thank you Joyce for your hospitality, your smile and the love you put into this place. You can feel it everywhere. We went home completely recharged and will definitely come back! 🌾✨
