Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Lanarkshire

Lift or stay here, I came with two teenagers, we went to visit the Kelpies, Falkirk wheel, we jumped on the train. I went to Glasgow and Edinburgh, we drove to the Forth bridge and the Queensferry Crossing- it was a perfect location! The train station was Next Door. We loved our accommodation - I cooked nights, and we had everything that we needed. There was a fabulous welcome hamper which included milk bread and eggs, thank you so much. We extended our stay while we were there, and we would definitely go back and stay again. Thank you so much for a fabulous stay x

I highly recommend this gem for not only a being a perfect place to rest, but also it's in a great location. The owner helped with my rental car too, as he's very knowledgeable about anything engine repair wise and was much appreciated

Stewart was great. We had lost power in the storm and he had two hours notice of our arrival. His home was beautifully kitted out and presented and Stewart was very welcoming and accommodating.

We arrived after a tiring journey and William was there to greet us. He was friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The house was spotless and spacious but with a cosy feel which is just what we wanted for a relaxing stay. It has great public transport with two bus stops very close by. We also were allowed to check out later due to a late flight which was really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and recommend fully.

great location house was lovely and clean and the beds really comfortable great shower and have everything we needed had an initial issue but within mins of messaging host they had called and got it sorted would Def recommend and would have no hesitation is staying again thank you ⭐

This is a beautiful 3 bedroom bungalow with an additional living 4oom in the lounge, monika was extremely friendly and helpful and couldnt do enough for us the home was absolutely beautiful ❤️ thank you for letting us stay here

Stunning spacious duplex apartment with main rooms on the ground floor and bedrooms/ full bathroom down spiral staircase…spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully furnished with all the facilities and utensils you would need. The apartment is in a fabulous location set back from the main street but handy for the west end and city centre….lots of great bars and restaurants nearby but located in a quiet residential neighbourhood beside Kelvingrove park. The lounge is spacious and comfortable and easily sat 6 people. Kitchen was well laid out with everything you would need if you wanted to cook. Utility room also had a third toilet which was handy as well as laundry facilities. An oasis in a stunning period building, handy for all that Glasgow has to offer.

We had another highly enjoyable weekend at Swallows Nest, our 2nd short stay at this very peaceful and comfortable property. A home from home, in very beautiful and special surroundings. Already arranging our 3rd visit … :) Highly recommend for a family or couple. Thank you both!

Our second year staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Such a beautiful flat - spacious, beautifully decorated, well-equiped, great wifi, secure parking, and a lovely neighbourhood within walking distance of the town centre. It really is the perfect place from which to explore Scotland. We just wish we could live here all year round - we almost cry when it is time to leave.

We loved our stay in this very comfy, clean flat. It had everything we needed. Kenny and partner were great hosts and showed us around, gave us instructions on how things worked and also gave us some very excellent recommendations for places to go, places to eat etc which was very much appreciated. The flat is in a good area, a short walk from the centre. The furnishings are excellent, very quirky and made the flat feel warm, cosy and very relaxing. We looked forward to coming back to flat after a busy day of sightseeing. The kitchen is compact but again had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of drawers, hanging spaces and the bathrooms were very clean and tidy. We loved the hidden bookcase. We were sad to leave our little holiday flat and would highly recommend it to anyone. we would definitely book again when we return to Glasgow.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely spacious and comfortable flat in a very pleasant area with easy access to the train and parking. It was well equipped. We were met by Pat who was very friendly and showed us around and made sure that we were happy with everything in the flat. He gave us some local information about shopping and restaurants. Our only problem was that we did not master the larger television , but were able to use the one in the kitchen.

This was a perfect place for our large family group to use as a home base to explore the area. The house and yard were great and it had all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

Absolutely incredible stay, we booked this stunning Victorian mansion for a group of 10, and it was an unbeatable bargain. The house itself is beautiful and full of character. It's located in a lovely part of Glasgow, which made getting around super easy (~10 minute walk to Ibrox subway) We had zero complaints and everything was just perfect. Highly recommend for people looking for a memorable stay!

Lovely quiet street, not too far from Glasgow airport. Williams mother was charming and left us fresh flowers.

This house was exactly as advertised. Spacious and beautiful. Perfect for two families. Check in was easy and Jacki was very responsive.

Could use a clothes dryer in addition to outside clothes line, due to Scottish weather. Location convenient for west end Glasgow.
