Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Laurel

My wife and I stayed here for a week during a visit to our family in Hyattsville. The house was exceptionally clean, and extremely well equipped. The beautiful outdoor space was truly remarkable. For an urban property, it had such a peaceful feel of being tucked away in the forest, with large trees surrounding the lot. We really enjoyed all the greenery whether sitting outside or looking through the windows. We were pleased to see that the owners have added a nice outdoor sitting area with a firepit that is not showing in the online photos. Everything was so in order, that we didn't need to contact the hosts, but when we did, Angela was very pleasant and responsive. By far, one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in. Thank you Angela and Max, we look forward to staying at your property again in the future!

This is a very nice house in a safe neighborhood. The best highlight is definitely a super nice and spacious backyard, especially if traveling with pets or kids. The house was clean and comfortable. Overall excellent experience and enjoyed talking to the friendly & caring hosts too.

I gave this 5 stars, and it deserves it. It's a full basement, nearly full kitchen in the bar area. It's decorated like a cool rec room. ( Looks like a fancy, high end "man cave" - low beautiful lighting, a brand new ping pong table, winsporting, beer and wine decorations) But look at the pictures. It's not " cozy". It's cool.

A beautiful Gem! I enjoyed staying here. Everything was as described. I especially like the apt feel. Nice, quiet and cozy. My host was quick to respond to questions and request. This location is on my star list. Was in town for ministry function. I shared with my friends. Highly recommended.

This home was the perfect place to celebrate my daughter’s graduation! We had family travel in from several states, and everyone felt comfortable and truly enjoyed the spacious layout. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool, but I’m already looking forward to booking this home again. I’ll definitely be a repeat renter!

Nice neighborhood, quiet, tree-lined street. Vered and Devir were very responsive! Also nice -- they offered (unsolicited) to let me check out later than check out time since they weren't going to have place cleaned until next day. Also provided bottled water and snacks, a nice touch! Can't speak to walkability to restaurants, stores, etc. since I had many different places to go and used my car a lot. My only (minor) issue was that I didn't find the pillows to be comfortable. But there's a cool area nearby called "Pike & Rose" with shops and restaurants.

What a fantastic location and incredible value! We were in the area to attend our grandniece’s graduation from the University of Maryland. This lovely Airbnb was perfectly situated so that we could participate in the graduation ceremonies, visit local sites and enjoy many of the excellent restaurants nearby. When we began our search for accommodations we found Genene’s listing and quickly knew it was what we wanted. A lovely studio! Our host Genene’s communication skills were impressive. She was incredibly responsive to all our questions and requests. We asked for additional non-listed items like a coffee pot (not Keurig which was already provided) and additional chair for the workstation and she graciously provided what was requested and more. Property and surrounding neighborhood were safe and conducive to dog walking. We coincidentally had the opportunity to meet Genene and those conversations were welcoming and engaging. The studio was exactly as described and comfortable.

This is a great place to stay and tour the DC Metro area - provided you have a car. Most days it would take us 30 minutes to get to and from DC though if we hit rush-hour, it was as long as an hour. The space is tidy and great. My kids love the pool, though it was a little cold for me-they swam there every night. Jennifer is great to communicate if you have any needs she gets stuff done right away. Note that there is only one bathroom, which can be a pain if you have a full house of six people. The washer and dryer are small so it will take you longer if you’re used to a full size. She had all the cooking methods and appliances available. The theater room has Netflix and Amazon prime ready for you to watch a show. There is even a popcorn maker. We did not use the gym, but it was nice - comparable to a small hotel gym. Property is in the owner’s basement, so there is some sound from upstairs as identified in the listing. Host stays out of your way but is there if you need anything.

This was probably the first Airbnb we stayed where we wouldn't have been upset if it rained! The unit has such a wonderful eclectic feel with so many little treasures to enjoy. From opening the gate and walking through the landscaping of hidden fountains, yard art, and inviting spaces to the beautifully furnished living space w/ gas fire place , spacious bedroom with a plush bed, all was a delight! Walking distance from an amazing park with pickleball & trails to DC, too easy to get around! LOVED it & look forward to another stay!!

Trish’s place was very clean , cozy and spacious! She is a very polite host and we would certainly come back if visiting Bethesda again!

I came back just a few days later because I could not stop thinking about this place. The gas fireplace once again created the perfect cozy environment after long workdays. The unit is not only beautiful but also perfectly equipped for an extended stay. Everything I needed to feel settled and focused was already there. The hosts were just as wonderful the second time. Still one of my favorite stays in DC.

What a wonderful retreat! I can't think of a better place to stay where you're surrounded by books, art and the countryside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and communication with Joseph was excellent. The location is great! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to shops, restaurants, parks, and the Metro. The place was very well equipped with a full kitchen and private/separate bedroom. The private patio was nice as well. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Washington DC.

We had a wonderful stay at Scott's apartment for our sightseeing trip to DC. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was located in a calm residential neighborhood while still being well connected to public transport and nearby dining options. Scott was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend!

We will definitely be back is the best endorsement. Quiet basement space that is in a safe and accessible neighborhood- one bed, living room, kitchen with induction stove, bathroom and cute dining area. Private entrance through the side gate with flood lights making late check in safe and easy. The owner is extremely responsive and lives upstairs but you barely hear anything. It had everything we needed and more. Internet connection was not lightening fast but you can still get online.

Fantastic place to stay for us. We were on the go constantly from one event to the next and Heather’s place was perfectly located for us to freshen up and change easily. There were plenty of restaurants and stores right nearby as well. The proximity to the metro was amazing. After leaving late one night from an event, we realized just how easy and shorter than expected the walk back to the house was. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for this trip. We’d definitely come back.

My in laws and I had a great stay at Krystof's house. It was a great location for what we needed and we loved the grocery store down the street. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed the open concept kitchen. They were great hosts and when we had questions they were quick to respond and friendly. We will absolutely plan to stay again!

This is truly one of the most beautiful homes I have ever been inside. The host was beyond helpful and made me feel very welcome. if I had a complaint it would be having to check out. This stay was truly worth every dollar spent

The place has great views on a nice end lot property; super natural light, high ceilings with comfortable beds! Highly recommended.

The communication was great! Such an easy check in and check out! Neighborhood was quiet and close to several amenities! It was comfy and even though we weren’t there all the time it felt like home. We would definitely stay there again!!

This home is so tastefully decorated and comfortable. Even though it's an older home with original wood on floors and stairs, the wall finishes looks fairly fresh and the kitchen is all upgraded with current amenities. I was pleasantly surprised that it had a large backyard with lawn furniture, grass and trees. The sun room was so comfortable for seating and playing cards, and the office had a nice futon-type bed that folded out for extra sleeping space. The primary bedroom, walk in closet, and bath are super large and beautiful. Lots of restaurants were within a mile of the house, including a Trader Joe's. The only drawback was car sounds at night from Washington Blvd but we got used to it. During our reservation process, Aman addressed my many questions quickly and fully, particularly in terms of what they had for my 1 year old grandson (toys, high chair, port a crib). During our stay, we also communicated easily a few times as questions came up.

I will forever be grateful for the amazing weekend my wife and I spent at the Dulles Executive Resort. It was love at first sight when we checked in after an overwhelmed 5 hours red eye flight. We needed a secluded place to rest and it was far better than what we had hoped for even beyond a stretch of our imagination. Beside being conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from IAD, the DER offers so many amenities..Our host welcoming attitude left no room for reproach. Thank you Alexise for helping us check in more than 12 hours in advance. Your overall warm introductory remarks and the fact that you went beyond normalcy in order to accommodate your guests made our week end....Your unwavering commitment to excellence and definite touch of "bon chic, bon genre" is without a doubt what makes DER a beauty to behold, a place of exquisite workmanship. Was a great stay overall, some little repairs needed around the house though. The outside porch doorknob was broken and also an almirah door in one of the rooms.
