Guest cottage in the yard

A cozy cottage in the yard of a detached house, yet your own peace. Good public transport. The cottage has a small room with a dining table, a fireplace and one double bed. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the life of a small Siberian husky herd in the yard of the house. Our dogs stay in the fenced backyard adjacent to the cottage, so the accommodation is not suitable for small children. During the snowy season, you can also ask about the possibility of a small sled dog ride in the beautiful winter landscapes of Northern Savo.

Hirsimökki Hietanen

Hietanen is a log building made for summer use, which moved to Hietasalmi, a peninsula between two lakes, in the 1970s. At the tip of the peninsula there is a sandy beach. The forest areas around the plot belong to the Vehkala farm. The terrain is undulating, small-scale moraine land, which in some places changes into rock or wetter depressions. Nearby you will find all types of forests. There is no real swamp in the area. A boat route runs through the strait from Vesantojärvi towards Rautalammi. The water is particularly good for canoeing.

Room with sauna and hot tub

Here you can enjoy the heat of the wood-fired sauna and relax in the outdoor hot tub. In the apartment you have a 140 cm double bed, dining table, dressing room with washing facilities, toilet, fridge, microwave and kettle. The property also has a carport with electric car charging (extra charge). The apartment is located in the courtyard of a detached house, in a separate building. Good outdoor terrain for hiking and frisbee golf, among other things. Linens and towels will be provided, as well as a hot tub and sauna.

Käytössänne on suihkutila, pesuallas ja kompostikäymälä, soutuvene ja 2 melontalautaa. Lisäksi kylpytynnyri/palju 50€ /loma.

Sunset lakefront old-growth forest guesthouse

This guesthouse was newly-built in 2024 with comfortable amenities ( sauna, indoor WC, shower, dishwasher, washing machine, heating pump). Located in the middle of old-growth forests, with a private bay and a calm lake with sunset view, it is a place “to adopt the pace of nature”. The rate includes hot tub, SUP board, and rowing boat (April to October). Two terraces for your own use: one with roof cover for grilling and summer kitchen; the second is for hot tub, fireplace, hammock and fishing.

New guest house with sauna in a quiet residential area near the center. The apartment is located on the same plot as the host's home. The property is suitable for families, couples and working people. The apartment has air conditioning, appliances for washing clothes and dishes, and kitchen utensils for cooking. The guest house has a sleeping loft with beds for three and a sofa bed for two in the living room. The sauna is wood-heated, and the terrace has a gas grill and patio furniture.

Villa Kontula B&B

Villa Kontula on viihtyisä majoitus kahdelle hengelle 1950-luvulla rakennetussa saunarakennuksessa. Vierailunne aikana voitte nauttia perinteisen suomalaisen saunan löylyistä ja istua iltaa terassilla. Teillä on mahdollisuus varata runsas aamiainen ennakkoon hintaan 10 €/hlö. Majoittajat asuvat samassa pihapiirissä. Vuoden 2026 uutuutena on Villa Kontulaan asennettu ilmanlämpöpumppu. Tämä mahdollistaa mukavat ja leppoisat unet.

Atmospheric barns along the Oravin canal Welcome to stay overnight in two charming barns right on the shore of the Oravin kanava! The huts are in a great location by the water, and there is an open-air grill in the immediate vicinity. One granary offers accommodation for two (2 beds) and the other for four (4 beds). The toilet facilities are shared and clean bed linen can be rented for €8/set.

Kanavanrannan guest house, air conditioning, WI-FI

An atmospheric and cozy place on the shore of the canal, where you can relax by the fireplace or under the starry sky, play Monopoly or read. In the summer, you can swim in the canal or paddle board and admire the cruise ships passing by. Cooling is done with an air heat pump. The paddle board is for one person. Here you can also get ice cream in the freezer or grill on the terrace.

A small cozy room on the lake, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Spacious private terrace overlooking the lake allows you to enjoy the beautiful nature. The cottage is located in the Lossisaari Tourist Center, which offers a wide range of services: from dining in a restaurant to various types of leisure activities on the territory of the center and more!

Cold drinking water/electricity in the cabin. Good road to the plot. Also for the owner's own use. Appears in the equipment. The cottage is not a luxury cottage.
