Holiday rentals with a fire pit in North Troms

Exceptional. A home from home feeling. Absolutely the place to recharge yourself. Put the fire on, get your book out, and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Go to bed, open the window, feel the fresh cold sea breeze flow through the room and fall asleep with the waves hitting the rocks. No need counting sheep, your gone ZZzzz. Communication was excellent, instructions clear and super warm upon arrival. Everything you could ask for in the home. We have stayed in many places, and many have left you wishing you had packed something! NOT HERE. The small details that make you feel you have chosen the right home are important. I had my reservations over jacuzzi, but this one was perfect. Super-hot with great sea view of the mountains. Getting here was relaxed, the views are spectacular, and the roads are cleared. It was perfect! The house was clean and it had a lot of amenities. Quality was a high standard. I was very satisfied. No neighbors and super sauna. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not in operation... Contact was always great. I fell in love with this place! Thank you Truls!

Perfect for outdoor holidays.

Anita and Björn are amazing people! We were well received, showed us and explained everything the cabin. Invite us to extend to them at home for tea with pastries Anna made including strawberry jam and homemade raspberries. Get to know a little bit of local people - it's her one-of-a-kind life, that's why we love Airbnb. The latte is cute, has all the basic and necessary things. The bedrooms are upstair with quite steep stairs, at night it is a bit difficult to get down to the toilet. We got along with a family of 4 people. For 3-4 nights it is quite reasonable to stay in the cabin and compromise on the comfort of a larger, more well-equipped home (and also more expensive). Total pretty good value for the price. The Great Benefits - Perfect location to see the Northern Lights. We saw a few times right next to the house. There is also a nearby car park 3 minutes drive. There is a natural slide in the garden and the kids played for hours in the snow and slide. The sauna is just something extremely rare - a must try, unusual experiences! With sea view and warmth with trees. (Extra charge).

This house is a villa! What a space, what a luxury! Bath, sauna, fitness room, everything is available. And then the view: a mighty river runs along the garden. From the living room, you have a good view, great! This house deserves to be booked for several days, so you can use the facilities appropriately and discover the surroundings!

We absolutely loved our stay in Tromsø! The place was beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located with a stunning view. Everything was well prepared and thoughtfully arranged. We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

Wonderful stay at a quiet location close enough to walk down the street to restaurants. Hosts let me park the motorcycle in the garage, and had the door open and ready for me. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Stunning views and location, and so cozy. Highlights are the jacuzzi, sauna, access to take a dip in the fjord, the fireplace in the living room, the comfy beds, and fully kitted out kitchen with a great coffee machine. Host was very nice and always responsive. Highly recommend!

This stay was excellent and only a 6 min walk to the bus stop that gets into the main city. Knut was so kind to us! They offered to drive us to the airport 3.5 hours away when we realized our transportation no longer worked. They also cooked our pizza for us and were so responsive with any questions we had! Definitely recommend staying here!

We are thankful that Håkøya Lodge was available for our stay in Tromsø! It was cozy, peaceful, private & clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. From the lodge it was easy to drive into Tromsø as well as over to Sommarøy & Senja. Nina & Bjørn are fantastic hosts! They provided clear, easy instructions for driving to and accessing the lodge. They happened to be working outside when we arrived and offered a warm welcome. We enjoyed being able to visit with them. Håkøya Lodge was a great place to wrap up the road trip portion of our Norwegian vacation! We would happily stay with Nina and Bjørn again!

Best place to stay on the island! Incredible mountain and water view out the back window. Quiet apartment with plenty of elbow space, including a full kitchen and living room. Nice change after the typical, tight city rentals. Opportunity to take a polar plunge from the backyard. Short drive into town, accessible by car or omnipresent bus system. Ørjan and Maria couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They felt like family in no time. Five stars all the way.

A fantastic apartment in a beautiful party of Norway. Susanne has thought of everything even down to the hair staighteners. Comfy beds, washing machine etc. Local coop is really good. Only sorry it was a short stay, thank you

Very pleasant stay, the accommodation totally matched our expectation to go skiing nearby. Nice and functional accommodation. Very nice view on the fjord with a beautiful indoor barbecue.

I was allowed to stay at Bjørn's Airbnb 2 years ago and fell in love with the house and surroundings. I would claim that Bjørn owns one of the nicest Airbnb on this platform. But not only the house and the breathtaking view of the fjord but also the extremely friendly hospitality of Bjørn makes this place so special.

Elisabeth's place is just amazing! The description of the place was perfect - but in reality the place was even way better!!! The views around the house are unbelieveable and the house is equipped with really everything you need. It's the perfect place to escape from everyday life to enjoy the wilderness and the sounds of nature. Once you're there, you won't trust your eyes - especially when you sit on a beach enjoying the midnight sun :). The check-in and check-out as well as the communication with Elisabeth couldn't have worked better. I can highly recommend this place if you are looking for a real adventure in the far north of Norway :). Thanks a lot Elisabeth!

We felt right at home and absolutely nothing was missing to have a nice time in the cabin. Svein and Siv are very warm hosts who make you feel welcome. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

We stayed at Nann Kirsti's place for 4 nights. At the very beginning, we felt like home. The open-plan living room with the staircase and the kitchen were very cosy. The whole cottage was very clean and top-equipped. There was a wardrobe in the master bedroom where you could store your things. The cottage is in a beautiful setting with lake views and close to a low frequented street.

Well maintained clean and cozy cabin in a beautiful location. Host was very helpful and nice :)
