The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Relax at this beautiful and peaceful cottage. Loch Bracadale Cottage next door can also be found on Airbnb. The house has 2 bedrooms with sleeping for up to 4 persons. The master bedroom with en suite shower room/toilet is on the ground floor with a view over the Loch and a small double and a single upstairs. There is also another toilet downstairs. In view of the bed/bathroom facilities the house is perhaps best suited to either a couple/a couple with younger children.
