You’ll love our place because of the position on Townsville's picturesque waterfront. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families (with kids). As well as the queen size bed in the bedroom there is a double pull-out sofa bed. You have a TV in both the bed room and the lounge.The complex including underground car park is fully secured. Positioned in the hub of The Strand surrounded by restaurants. A large Coles Supermarket is only a short walk away
“Five stars all round! Best location on the Strand, right next to the coffee shop for your morning coffee and across the road from the beach. Five minutes walk to the splash park if you have kids and many great restaurants within walking distance. Colleen and John we’re really thoughtful, leaving a nice selection of food and drinks for us. Also having free access to a washing machine and dryer was really helpful! Apartment itself of spacious and has everything you need! We stayed with our toddler and there was plenty of room for the three of us! Also a pool! Thanks again Colleen and John We will be back! Tamara, Tyson and Indiana”
This fully self-contained, fully airconditioned home is the lowest price for a two-bedroom unit on The Strand. It has views of the ocean from the side balcony. It is not a high-end apartment but it is comfortable, clean and professionally styled. The 81 sqm unit also has a small fold-out single guest bed for a fifth person (suits a child NOT an adult). Although the complex was built in the 70s, the unit has been professionally renovated.
“This is a little gem. It outdid my expectations. The apartment is as you can see an older styling block quite common in Australia. However there are some very nice differences here. The laundry downstairs means the sound of the washer and heat of the dryer doesn’t disturb your peace. It’s already hot enough without a dryer running. Of course. Great. The parking is spacious. I had a big car and fit easily. The stairs are only for 4 units so there isn’t the feeling of everyone walking past your stairs to get to their apartment as is common with these apartment blocks. These hosts have done a really nice job of set up. Everything is very well ordered. Plates and pans and pots and food and kitchen cleaning accessories. There is aircon in the living room and both bedrooms. There is a sliver of a view if the beach. You are at the back of apartments so no traffic noise. There is a little greenery to see. The beach is right there at the door step with a lovely landscapes walk. I walked all the way to twin centre. It was delightful. Just 7 mins in the car to town. There is a cafe right there in the beach so you don’t have to go far. There is a pub and other restaurants not too far way. This apartment needs a car and good mobility as it has steps and stairs and is a distance to get to town. I loved this apartment and recommended it to friends. It’s a hidden gem. I was nicely surprised. Much nicer than staying In some motel on the strand. Loved it”
