Holiday rentals with a kayak in Northeast Piscataquis

Abigail’s place is perfect. Cozy, serene, and beautiful. You feel immediately at home when you walk in, the view from the windows is incredible. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch, looking out at the water, and watching for wildlife. The rooms were pristine and the pillows were beyond comfy. The addition across the kitchen was the ultimate place to lounge and relax - kid friendly too with day beds. We had a great experience and I can’t recommend this place enough. Our host left a couple of personalized touches which made the trip feel that much more special. Thank you Abigail for a great experience!

We really enjoyed our anniversary cabin! Such a beautiful view from the sun porch area seeing the river. Loved everything about the place and hope to come back for our next anniversary 😁 The hosts were great! They came and helped us with everything to know about the cabin. Gave us a basket of grapes, chocolate covered strawberries and lilac jelly. Loved the size of the place, perfect for us. Highly recommend the cabin and the hosts! 10/10!

Amber’s spot on Lake Wyman was the perfect weekend getaway! Right on the water, private, spacious and beautiful location. Amber was a great communicator, would definitely stay there again!

Kevin and Cathy's place is spotlessly clean and in a pristine and serene setting. Great location on the lake with views of sunsets and sunrises. The kitchen and baths appear to be renovated and are in spotless condition with lots of supplies. We really didn't need a thing. There was never a need to reach out because instructions and pre-checkin in communications had already answered everything. We didn't use any of the many kayaks (a bit too chilly) but we did enjoy the firepit. We like the layout, with bedrooms on the top floor and living space downstairs - adults could sleep in while kids were free to have breakfast and play downstairs. I can't think of anything to add or change about this lodging. It was a wonderful visit.

Beautiful location, accommodating host and very responsive and flexible. The place is a hidden gem right next to the lake. It is in a very secluded setting, definitely worth it.

My wife and I came to see the autumn foliage in Maine and could not have wished for a more beautiful location. Boyd Lake was gorgeous, surrounded by the autumn trees which were reflected by the lake. The cabin had all the amenities required and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. Jenn and Eric were great hosts -- very responsive to our needs. We also took day trips to Bar Harbor and Camden, both very delightful. Highly recommended,

This house/cabin was incredible! The pictures don't do it justice!! The view of the lake is gorgeous from the house and you can see it from all the common living areas. It is all wood inside so it feels like you are in a large cabin! Everything was super clean and felt very new. There was plenty of room to spread out but also very warm and cozy at the same time. It was very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The wi-fi worked well and there were good instructions left to connect to it. The kitchen was great and the bathroom was huge. It was nice to be able to do laundry while staying there, and everything felt very fresh and clean. Karen was a very responsive host, which was much appreciated! Everything was set up for convenience if you needed to find something. It was convenient to go to Hannaford's in Lincoln on the way there, too. We are definitely looking forward to coming back during the summer time when we can use the lake! This is a beautiful place to stay.

Darcey was always responsive and honest about the cottage and location. The cottage was updated while still maintaining the rustic and original feel. All appliances worked and there were plenty of water craft to keep us occupied.

e had an amazing weekend at camp! The entire place was spotless — seriously, one of the cleanest camps we’ve stayed at. The location couldn’t be better — right on the lake with stunning views and easy access to the water. Whether you’re into kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing on the dock, it’s all right there. The beds were surprisingly comfy — we all slept like rocks. There were tons of games to keep everyone entertained, from board games to outdoor activities. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug and enjoy some quality time with family or friends. The only thing that was missing - a pizza cutter! All in all, highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun weekend escape. Can’t wait to come back!

Deborah’s “Shack” was far from the true definition of “shack”! It was a beautiful place- perfect for our stay. There was some confusion on my end about the method of payment and she was very responsive about that. Most of all was her warmth & friendliness which has resulted in a new friend! Finally, I left an important article behind and when I sent her a 9-1-1 type of text she responded immediately and sent the article via priority mail to me. I begged to reimburse her for the cost but she refused. Another great surprise is we had people connections in common in the area. All in all our stay was marvelous and Deborah was an unparalleled host!! 🥰

A little slice of heaven! The Nest was everything we hoped for and more. The sunsets over the crystal-clear lake were stunning, but what really struck us was how long the colors linger in the sky up here, creating the most peaceful and relaxing mood to close out each day. The cabin itself was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and the perfect size for our getaway. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, already looking forward to a return visit.

The home was beautiful both inside and out. It has most items you would need for a family meal. Lots to do in the area surrounding the home. If we had gone when it was a little warmer there are lots of activities to do at the home as well; from kayaking, fishing and swimming to relaxing by a fire pit. I will definitely keep this place in mind on our next trip up to Maine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Had everything we possibly needed (except a lobster pot :)). It was clean, comfortable and beautiful view. Can't ask for anything better on Sebec Lake. Our family will surely return in the future. Thank you Janice for sharing a piece of your home.

Leslie was very responsive and helpful before the trip. The place was even more beautiful than expected. The Google address leads to a few houses before, but the description of the driveway helped us find the right location. It was the perfect location to relax for the weekend.

We loved our one week stay at the cabin! It was really wonderful living right at the lake, having breakfast outside, kayaking, going swimming almost every day and just enjoying the time doing nothing or reading. We also went hiking in the nearby State Park which was great. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Communication with Kim was really easy-going. We definitely recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to get away from everything for a while.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Right on moosehead lake easy walk down to get right to fishing! If i had any questions peter was very helpful and had no problem answering me and even texted to make sure i was having a good stay! Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to get out to moosehead!

Location is perfect! Rented both cabins for our visit. Took in all the sites we could...weather was chilly and rainy. Cabins were warm and cozy. Chrissy was very responsive and made check-in easy. Thank you!

This place was super well equipped with anything and everything we needed. There was plenty of necessities like towels, tp, kitchen utensils like pots, pans, a coffee maker, a kettle, toaster, crock pot, etc. It felt like the host was experienced and the place was not lacking at all.

Tracey's place was perfect for our needs. Tracey provided clear instructions to access the property and was communicative during the stay. Tracey was also flexible with the change in dates I required. Absolutely would stay again if in the area.

The cabin was awesome. Lindsey was great and extremely quick with responses. My only suggestion would be to have some written directions for the road as are our GPS was struggling to locate the place at night, but still not difficult. Place had everything we needed, great water activities, and neighbors were awesome too. Would 100% rebook.

Amazing cabin getaway spot! Pictures don’t do it justice. Incredible views, lots of space, and feels like it’s brand new inside and out. Small cabins near by but felt private due to how much outdoor space. Deck was incredible and we spent most of our time on it just enjoying the views, grille and hot tub. It wrapped around almost the entire house and provided cover from the rain we had sporadically. Grilles have propane connected directly to the house so no worry for messing with tanks. Truly was the perfect spot for a 10 person getaway. Easily could fit more if you really wanted to. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen/ living room layout was great for watching sporting events. Will definitely come back to this place and recommend to personal friends. 10/10!!!

This was our second time staying at Deric’s Lakehouse. Deric is super nice, helpful, and responsive. Amazing place and can’t beat the location on Pleasant Pond. A true gem!

Rockwood retreat was awesome! Felt at home very clean and Michael was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for people close to boat landing, snowmobile trails. A nice gateway for 5 days. Will be coming back again!
