Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Northwest Territories

We loved our stay. It can be a challenge to find a place that not only accommodates dogs, but is comfortable for them. Tanya’s fenced back yard absolutely made the trip for them. Such a great place to enjoy a morning cup of tea and sit in the sun. There is a big and intricate trail system right up the block. We loved having that close access. Great place to walk with the dogs and be in nature. Tanya’s place was incredibly comfortable for us. The kitchen has everything you could ever need to make amazing meals. Tanya was responsive and helpful when I contacted her. 10/10. Will return. :)

Beautiful, peaceful, and worth every penny! Paula did such a wonderful job in every aspect of our stay! We even left some valuable goods behind...Paula saved the day and called us to come back, immediately after our leaving her wonderful home! We hope to stay at her lovely home again! If you are spending any time in Whitehorse this is a great place to spend that time. Good yard for kids to safely run around in, basement for movie nights, and reachable by any delivery service. We started with a few days and due to a truck breakdown extended a few weeks and we're very happy. Karla and crew were fantastic.

Kathleen was a gracious host and definitely went the extra mile in providing enjoyable activities for our kids while we were at this home. She was friendly whenever we crossed paths outside. Kathleen’s place was clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. We had a lot of options for extra blankets and towels. Overall I would definitely recommend a stay here anytime! Thank you Kathleen for a wonderful stay.

EASILY one of the best BnB’s I ever stayed in. From booking to check out everything was perfect, price was very worth it . Great host as well, I’ll definitely have to come back some time ! Recommend this place to anyone staying with 2 or more people.

After a long day of driving, we were so happy to find Christine’s sanctuary in the woods. The space is even nicer than the photos. The apartment was clean, neat, comfortable and very quiet. The bed was comfy and we slept pretty well despite those long days of sunlight. Whitehorse was exactly an easy 10-minute drive. Everything you will need is provided in the apartment. Christine even left a basket of locally made treats, which we enjoyed. I would definitely recommend a stay at Christine’s cabin in the woods.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the great view from the balcony, especially the sunsets. The space itself was perfect for us, and had every amenity we could need. Despite being close to everything, it felt like a private retreat where we could truly relax. The hosts were very responsive—any question we had was answered within minutes, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Their warmth and attention to detail made us feel so welcome. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a stunning view, top-notch comfort, and hosts who genuinely care, you can't go wrong here.

"There were seven of us who shared the home (10B) and we really appreciated the size, kitchen and overall condition of the home. We were all able to congregate at the dining table eating and playing cards, and the kitchen enabled us to prepare good food and snacks for the entire stay. We really liked the music-playing refrigerator and other amenities and appliances of the house. The back porch was a delight as a fox visited us and stayed for a while, it was also a great place to see the Northern Lights. We were a little warm the whole time and couldn't really find a way to turn down the heat except to open a window. The television required a little knowledge of rocket science in order to get it to work, but luckily we had a rocket scientist with us. Most of us will no longer patronize AirBnB because of their support of the current administration in the USA.

Clean and comfortable space stocked with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I particularly enjoyed the eco friendly soaps. Would highly recommend, especially seemed set up well for digital nomads and people working remotely.

Absolutely perfect! Ruth was quick to respond to questions and her place was clean and quaint. She was incredible to work with. Would highly recommend. We were tired after a long drive and she was very accommodating. Thanks, Ruth!!

Great place to stay. I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s my go to place to stay when in Whitehorse. It has been consistently good every time. Clean, quiet, good neighbourhood, and excellent communication with host.

This was the second time we've booked this property as Ounsen was a wonderful host! He was also very responsive and helpful when we had to make a change to our booking. Would recommend his place for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Had a great stay! Great location- especially loved being across from Whiskey Jacks- great spot for dinner. Natal was very responsive and accommodated our late check-in after driving all day! Shower was lovely, bed was comfy. She left water bottles, too, which was thoughtful!

Andrew left very clear instructions, including for some of the quirkier aspects. The space was in a quiet neighbourhood close to downtown. It could have been challenging to find, but Andrew gave very clear, detailed instructions and maps. Even though I had not requested parking, Andrew reached out to let me know it would not be available during my visit and to suggest alternate locations. The space was clean and was exactly as-described. Good value for money.

Great place to be close to Whitehorse yet next to hiking trails, gravel bike routes , lakes, etc. Had everything we needed to cook and enjoy a couple nights on our way through Whitehorse after camping for a week. Would definitely return and recommend. The host was very attentive , responsive with great communication skills.
