Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas cooktop. Barbecue. Bathroom in the neighboring building. Duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linen is included in the rental price. There is a short distance to the mountains, Tinnsjøen, bike tours and tours in the surrounding area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. In summer there are countless hiking opportunities and if you are interested in fishing there are many good alternatives in the area. Gaustatoppen is a very popular mountain hike and is located nearby. Newer cabin with great views and nice hiking opportunities

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

The lodge is located at Tjønndalen Fjellgard in a scenic mountain area about 900 meters above the see level. There are great hiking trails right outside the cabin, summer and winter. We also operates Haukeli Husky who offers dogsledding summer and winter. You are of course welcome to visit our kennel and our 55 friends when you are our guest.
