The residence is located about 30 minutes from Tromsø Airport, in the direction of Sommarøy. Car is recommended! The accommodation is in scenic surroundings, allowing nature experiences such as northern lights, mountain hikes or just a quiet evening around the fire pit on the terrace to be enjoyed. Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. Your own private cabin, with the ocean right outside your window. Inside you find three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. Depending on the season and weather you can see eagles and other birds fly by, or just enjoy the stunning aurora. It´s a 3 minute walk to our small city center with grocery stores, sports shop, a liquor store, pharmacy, hair dressers and a gas station.

Nice sauna can be rented for 600 sek - needs to be booked at least one day in advance. Takes 4-6 hours to heat. Own car or rental car is required. Or transport by taxi. No bus connection available. Nearest grocery store is in Kiruna C (15 km) or in Jukkasjärvi (10 km).
