Holiday rentals with lake access in Norwegian Sea

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Jonathan’s rental house in Fjordgård was simply wonderful. Right on the water in a small town in Senja. Hiking trails to Hesten mountain and other locations are literally right outside the door! A floating sauna, which can be rented by the hour is a few doors down. The house is comfortably furnished with modern and extremely comfortable design. Four bedrooms upstairs were just right for our party of six. Would definitely stay again.

Wow! What an amazing place! It is like staying at a friends home - super comfortable, homey, and relaxing. The "sun room" was enchanting and we sat there for fours enjoying the different moods of the fjord. The location was beyond anything I can describe - it was so quiet! Lindy was very responsive and quick. There was nothing that could not have asked for!

Mary-Lines home was so beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay here and loved waking up to the beautiful view of the boats on the water.

I've stayed at Anna's place many times now and there's a reason I keep coming back. Anna is a terric host, kind friendly and always helpful. The apratment is neat, cleean, tidy and quiet with everything you need and within close walking distance to the city, and right beside several handy bus stops. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Tromso, this one is a personal favourite.

Very pleasant and warm communication. The apartment is located at the end of a residential area, beautifully in the countryside, and you can start hiking directly from the apartment. Even had the rare luck to see moose that came into the settlement. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. And the living room is so cozy that you can even spend a real "bad weather" day at home. For many excursions from an accommodation, however, I find it a bit too remote.

Very comfortable apartment, well-equipped, with a great view. There's absolutely nothing missing. In addition, the owners are charming and very considerate. They received us wonderfully. Thank you for everything.

The stay in the cottage was great. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and even more. Very well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. A washing machine and tumble dryer are a great convenience. Comfortable beds, good, dark blinds on the windows. Sometimes you can see hares behind the house through the windows :) Private parking and plenty of space in front of the house. If I were to fly to Lofoten for the second time, I would definitely stay in this cottage. Nusfjord is a beautiful town to spend your holidays in Lofoten. It is very well located, it is close to all popular places, and Nusfjord and its bay is an attraction in itself.

We’ve enjoyed our stay at Inger’s place. It was very convenient from the very and the groceries. We stayed just for a night but the place was more than perfect. The morning view was stunning.

We had a fantastic stay at Tórhallur’s place. Their place was the perfect home base for several day trips we had planned. And what an amazing view to wake up to with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend !

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We came for the fox and stayed for everything else. The house and its surroundings are beautiful and Anita and her parents are great hosts who make you feel at home immediately.

We had a lovely stay! The place was exactly as described and our host was very responsive to questions, which is so helpful when you are in a different country. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again if we found ourselves traveling here again. Thank you!

Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

Super location and exactly as described. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the area and the wildlife around the house such as various bird species. The house has nice and nice old touches and accessories which we really found a more value. The hottub was great and super place. Our host Cato was always super quick and helpful. just a good electricity free time

We spent a couple of nights enjoying the peace and quiet. Great place! Gravel beach where it's good to go swimming, quite shallow so safe for school-age children. High-quality renovated cottage without the “cottage smell”. Great grill, gentle steam, neat wooden hut. We had a great time and will be back again!
