Family-friendly holiday rentals in Nye Beach

Greatest host and house I could have hoped for, especially considering how last minute it was. They went above and beyond to make the stay as wonderful as possible, and easy for all of us. Extremely polite, and proactive. This place feels more like a home than a rental, and it’s easy to feel like you’re staying with family (that you like)! It’s beautiful inside and out. So much to do in the house, you might not actually leave, and they have everything you need and more available. Easily my first choice next time I’m looking to go back. 100/10 stars. Do yourself the favor of staying here.

Very nice place to stay. Used hot tub on upper floor, wonderful view, somewhat of a hike, if any problems with walking, but we managed even with bad knees. Would definitely stay again. Great location.

This place was beautiful! The floor plan was really open, nice kitchen space and big bedrooms. The surrounding area was quiet and serene. It was nice having a private home away from the beach crowds. Squeaky clean home when we arrived and our hosts were very kind. Highly recommend!

A great stand-alone residence... excellent parking, very quiet and private, well equipped and easy access to major highway and local towns. Highly recommended..

This place was like home away from home. The dog fenced in area is a game changer when traveling with dogs!!! Clean, quiet and peaceful! I’ll be back!

My husband and I have a great time staying here and exploring the coast! We were celebrating a lot of milestones for us and it’s a trip we won’t forget and hope to be back in the future!

This house was fantastic. Close to the ocean and easy access to the beach. The house was very comfortable and was nice to have 2 bathrooms. The back yard was fully fence which made it nice for the dogs. It had a fire pit but did not get a chance to use it and also had a hot tub. When the wind was picking up in the front the back yard was calm. That made it nice to hang out back there. Over all it was a great couple of days. Thanks for sharing your place with us and I will look forward to staying again next time we decide to come to town.

This was our second time staying at this house and my family all agrees that when it comes to value you really can't do better than this place! Though it could use a little updating and TLC (our 8-year old daughter got quite a few splinters from the deck and the railing) the location is great - easy access to the beach, It's pet-friendly, clean and comfortable. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay Wally is very responsive and friendly. We've already booked our next stay here.

Great place to stay! Less than a one minute walk to the beach. Close to shops, restaurants. House was fully stocked, including kid plates/silverware. Beware there are two sets of stairs (no baby gates) if you are traveling with small kids. There are plenty of kid toys and books, which my kids (1 and 4) loved! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful of the ocean and Haystack Rock from nearly panoramic windows. The deck was wonderful. The bed was firm (we didn't try the beds in the rec room). The kitchen is extremely well stocked for cooking, but this isn't a place where coffee and the like are waiting for you. I appreciated that there were few chores required--just take out the garbage. Cat's place is in a residential neighborhood, which requires a 5 minute drive to restaurants and beaches. We highly recommend the Riverhouse for dinner (mac and cheese and the chef salad--both with dungeness crab--are to die for) and the Grateful Bread for breakfast. Cat's place is pricey in my opinion, but we did enjoy our stay there.

This house was amazing! We really enjoyed the backyard with our dogs. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay with family. Kitchen is huge and perfect for cooking meals together. The location is perfect and walkable to various beach access to the calm and less populated bay. We also walked to the wetlands trail with our stroller. Some parts of the trail are not stroller friendly but we made it work. The beds were clean and comfortable, it does get a little cold at night but the two fireplaces made it cozy. The laundry room was equipped with everything and we utilized that to wash some clothes that got dirty at the beach. We will definitely be back with more family as the house is large enough to accommodate more than we traveled with this time. Sue is very responsive and helpful. For a nearby dinner I highly recommend the rusty truck. House felt toddler friendly with pack n play and baby gates available.

Great place! Well appointed home. Nicely outfitted kitchen. Ashley is very sweet and accommodating. The location is great. Walkable to the beach and Sitka Sedge.

Loved our stay here. The house has so much character and like so many have mentioned, it’s very well stocked with anything you may need to cook or bake, extra blankets and towels, and games. We have stayed at many Airbnb’s, all with varying degrees of these things, but Colin’s place was up there with availability of needs and comforts. Very responsive to our questions. The location is fantastic. Walkable to the brewery and local market. But also quiet and off the Main Street. Wound absolutely stay here again. And hope that we do.

this place is an absolute gem. the decor is art! I'm pretty sure a lot of the details are hand made like the curtains and the rods, and the entire place has had a lot of thought and a lot of love poured into it. we did the best we could to follow all of the cleaning instructions, but we did forget to empty the coffee basket! sorry! we had a fantastic swim in the sun, played monopoly, watched movies and enjoyed family time. thanks to a pair wonderful hosts that had a well put together list of things we would need, we were well prepared and knew what to expect ahead of time so everything went without any hiccups. thanks for a fantastic vacation! we hope to catch an opening again next year and become repeat guests! we love the siletz riverhouse!

This is the second time we've stayed here. Nothing beats the view. The house is just as described. The little neighbor lady below the house is adorable and her yard is beautiful as well. It was a fun trip!

The place was very nice- bigger than the pictures make it look and very well stocked with linens, games, toys, and kitchen things. We had a minor issue and they offered to send someone out the same day (which we didn’t need but appreciated). The only watchout is the dune in front of the house down to the beach is much steeper than it looks, so we had to walk a few houses down for beach access with kids- not a dealbreaker but not a straight shot walkout if you were expecting that.

Perfect place to visit with a family as you have everything you need in your room for an easy vacation with kids (kitchen, laundry, more then one bathroom, site has nice walking path and basketball court, and the 3 pools are a huge plus). Our trip was amazing and very relaxing. Our kids enjoyed the pool every day and we spent a lot of time walking the beach looking for shells. My husband and I loved the view and we spent every night listening to the waves. We loved that the kitchen was well equipped making it easy to enjoy home cooked meals. Honestly, this was an ideal trip and we would be happy to return!

I felt like the condo was bigger than I expected which was nice because we slept on the pull out couch while my child slept in the bedroom. It was charming and so close to the beach. Plenty of amenities that I’d expect in an air bnb plus extras for the beach which is nice. Great value for the price.
