Holiday rentals with lake access in Ocean View

We had a wonderful stay at Abubakar’s place. It was relaxing but had the right amount of opportunities for entertainment. The natural setting was beautiful - we walked to the beach and viewed migrating horseshoe crabs and the accompanying shorebirds. (The insects were in full force this time of year, so we did cover up well. )The screened in porch was a perfect place for enjoying the sights and sounds. We took advantage of the ping pong tables,bicycles and big screen tv. The local pickleball courts are within biking distance and we enjoyed a few games. Great host and property. We hope to return!

We had a fabulous time. The house was perfect, well stocked and spotless. The private, waterview setting really stood out as our favorite. Danitra is the perfect host.

Great place that felt like home!

We had an excellent stay at Joseph's place! The location, in a small gated community, surrounded by trees was exceptionally peaceful and the others in the neighborhood offered friendly waves whenever we passed. The cottage was extremely cozy (two sets of comfortable sofas, a comfortable bed) and expertly equipped (i.e. full set of cookware, can opener, orange juice and creamer) and thoughtfully designed (washer dryer, front porch with chairs, fire pit in back). The extra, extra plus for us was that we could bring our dog. The location is ideal 20 mins from Lewes, 25 minutes from Rehobeth, and 40 minutes from Bethany Beach - tons to explore, especially outdoors. Joseph was very proactive (gate instructions in advance, for example) and responsive (friendly tone, responded within minutes to each question). Would recommend highly and without reservations!

We had a great stay at Matthew's place in OCMD. The house was very conveniently located - only a few short block walk to the beach or a variety of restaurants, shops, and amusements (mini golf, etc.). There was a dedicated parking spot and ample street parking as well. The house worked great for our weekend trip, as two couples plus two small children. Matthew was extremely responsive, making the entire process very easy!

What a spacious & lovely home! Serene view of the little lake. The beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the primary bath/shower! Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking, & gas grill. Location was good for us to go exploring. Dogfish head brewery so close-the longer tour we took was very interesting; worth the $20. Lots of samples! We enjoyed the food there, as well. Hosts immediately responsive. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! From the natural beauty of the surroundings to the hotel quality type accommodations of the home it left us wanting for nothing. Highlights of our week, to name only a few, included a Bald Eagle sighting, a 20" largemouth bass caught and released from the dock, kayaking on the quiet lake, & biking the nearby Georgetown Lewes Trail. We enjoyed hours of family time by the pool, around the campfire, & in the comfort of the many indoor and outdoor lounging areas. Chris is a great host and we're all looking forward to going back next year!

The house was well kept and clean. The house was well stocked with supplies. Host responded quickly. However the entry gate was problematic and often did not work.

A perfect getaway in a great location! Everything was only a 5 min drive to the beach and greats bars, restaurants. Kathryn was very responsive when needed!

I took my nephews and some friends to hang out in OC for the week and this house was exceptional! Clean, roomy, had everything we needed in it, it was great! The host was very friendly and communicative, definitely worth it! The view from the top floor balcony was amazing 🌅 🙌🏽 Thank you!!

TJ has thought of everything. It felt just like coming home. The neighborhood is pretty and peaceful while still being close to all the attractions.

The house was awesome! Great location - close to restaurants, stores, beach and boardwalk. Park your car and never drive again! Walk or bike anywhere in Dewey or Rehoboth. Private yard surrounded by tress and a fence. An incredible 2nd story screened in outside patio/porch that you can enjoy anytime of the day or night! Open kitchen and living room area. Don’t forget about the outside shower. The best place to be after a day at the beach! Philip and Michael were great host! We can’t wait to visit again!

Our stay was absolutely perfect, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend! Host was super responsive, super helpful, and super friendly, a wonderful stay! The place was warm, inviting, and quiet!

Our family spent two nights there and loved it! Plenty of space for my husband and two young kids. Everything was new and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and the host was kind and responded quickly. Would absolutely stay again. Often you find that pictures are a little deceptive and places end up smaller than you imagined from the pictures, the opposite is true this time. It was a lot bigger and roomier than I expected.

Junes place was so cute and cozy! She left plenty of item for us to use and was so nice when we checked in. She’s very easy to get a hold of. I will definitely be coming back to her house when I do a weekend get away:)

We stayed at Eileen’s several times this summer and always had a great stay. We felt as if it was our home away from home. Eileen is super responsive and her cottage was perfect for our beach getaways. Quiet, peaceful, yet close to all the attractions we enjoy. Thank you, Eileen!

Anne Marie and Bob were amazing, and the cottage was beyond expectations lovely! Even when things went wrong (not at all their faults), they were responsive and helpful. Everything in the cottage was well supplied and planned (had sheets and towels and bathroom supplies). I would recommend them 100 times over!

We had an amazing stay! Everything was just like the pictures. Mary Ellen was amazing with giving us details on check in, activities nearby, and distances from each beach. She was an amazing host and responded to messages swiftly. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay as it was cozy and just the right size and peaceful! Would definitely book with her again!!

We stayed here for a mom and kids getaway over memorial Day weekend! From first contact, Sarah was welcoming, helpful and accommodating to our needs. We had several children 5 and under and there was plenty of games and rooms for everyone to have a good time. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of utensils, bags, plates pots pans etc. the appliances were a bit dated, but honestly worked better than anything you'd get new! We were about 20 mins away from Cape Henlopen, Rebobeth and other local beaches. It was an easy drive for us and we got to enjoy to quiet neighborhood rather than the hustle and hustle of your traditional east coast beach town. All in all this was one of the best Air BnB experiences I've ever had and I could not recommend these hosts enough!! -Mandy

Dock Holiday is perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing vacation in a serene setting. The space is unique, funky and inviting. It feels like a family summer home, a place to make warm memories. It has everything you need for function and comfort—AC, wi-fi, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a screened in porch. The property is beautiful with a large shady yard and a lovely breeze off the bay. There are footpaths all around the neighborhood and the pool area is great for all ages. The ocean, beach, shopping, restaurants and other attractions are about 20 minutes away. That area is very crowded in summer, so it’s nice to go there when you want to and return to Dock Holiday to unwind. We’re already talking about when going back next year.

Everything at this Airbnb Is exactly as described. We had an amazing time with a group of 10 people. There is a lot of outdoor space, off street parking (we fit 7 cars easily), and common space area. This house would be wonderful for a small party or a large party of people. The bedrooms were charming and pretty large. The location is amazing too. It’s set back from the road and feels very private. The view of the lake is beautiful and serene. We drank coffee on the front porch overlooking the lake every morning. The house is a short walk to two different beach areas. We loved this house and look forward to booking it again next summer!!
