Holiday rentals with lake access in Okanagan-Similkameen

Robert’s place was a great place for our group to stay while in Kelowna for my daughter’s dance competition. It was 5 minute drive to the venue. The house was spacious and tidy with a big kitchen that had everything we needed. Robert has a detached place in the back but we didn’t even know he was there. Wish we had more down time to enjoy the patio but would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Leanne was extremely responsive with an easy check in/out process. The location is wonderful right on Shaka Lake with tons of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. The house is a little on the order side with some older appliance and furniture but the vibe of the property was great - loved the collection of VHS available! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location for a wine touring getaway with family and friends. Situated in the heart of wine country, this property offers convenient access to all major vineyards and boasts stunning views from the front deck. The unit was exceptionally clean, featuring modern furnishings and well-appointed amenities. The on-site clubhouse includes a full range of pool and fitness facilities, adding to the overall experience. The host provided clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and the property was simple to locate. Highly recommended—this is a fantastic choice for your next wine country escape.

Our first visit to Penticton and we could not have picked a more perfect home. The bungalow was clean, had lovely decor, and was well-equipped. A beautiful sun deck with loungers to enjoy the warm Penticton sunshine. We felt right at home! The town was walkable with many lovely local bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We can highly recommend The Dog Park, Tratto Pizza, Sociale and Locale. We hired bikes from Epiccycling and cycled through the vineyards to the old railway tunnel stopping at Wesbert Vineyard and the Abandoned Railway Brewing Co. A fab few days with a beautiful and comfy home to relax in during the evening.

It is definitely one of the best locations and experiences we have had using AirBnB!! Brian was a great communicator. The house was spotless and open. The view is phenomenal. Quiet location, close to the KVR trail and close to the tranquil town of Naramata. We would love to return some day and soon! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing time on your property!!

This is the perfect spot for anyone wanting proximity to downtown. The location is very walkable which saved the trouble of Ubers for the most part. The house is well laid out, very clean, and stocked with travel essentials. I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Kelowna!

this home was perfect! helped fit our bigger group and although it’s based in west kelowna it’s very close to downtown kelowna, not taking long to get there! couches and beds were so comfy, the place was well stocked and a great choice for a weekend getaway!

We travelled from Northern Ontario to meet our daughter and son who recently moved to West Kelowna. We had many beautiful walks to the dog beaches and hiking trails then took in the great restaurants in the area. Charene's place had a great patio with a sun shade, perfect for relaxing after our hikes. Summerland is a beautiful area to explore.

Really nice place. Just in front of the lake where your dog can swim. Vivien was really kind, welcoming and charming. Near Kelowna with all the vineyards and restaurants.

Brent & Linda were phenomenal hosts!! We were a party of 4 (2 couples) arriving at different times from two different locations. We both had vehicles which I thought might’ve been an issue but to my surprise, Brent allowed one of us to use one of the garage stalls and the other park in front of that garage. Brent & Linda greeted our other party when they arrived and gave them access to the garage as well gave them a personal rundown of the suite and told them not to hesitate to reach out it we needed anything. Myself and my husband did not meet them until Sunday as we had a late arrival on Friday & spent Saturday at our friend’s wedding. They’re an amazing couple and truly welcoming. We all truly enjoyed staying in Brent & Linda’s beautiful Suite. Our favorite part was being able to sit outside on the private patio in the mornings with our coffees & tea and the evenings having a nice glass of wine or a nightcap and catching up with our friends.

This place was exactly what we needed for a long weekend. And we have 2 dogs, so that was a factor. The hosts were very responsive, flexible when I had to change dates, and had local recommendations, which was appreciated. While this is part of the same house as the hosts', these ladies cordoned it off strategically so there is private entry, own yard, hot tub, parking...all for you! The place is very clean and comfy, an add'l pull out couch if needed-also comfy, with streaming (Roku). Kitchen had all the cookware you needed, French press, etc. This was the first time, though, that we did not cook on a trip! Too many good restaurants. Right outside your entry is a true walking path. 10 min walk into town or Marina following awesome rushing creek. Not for swimming! Lots of wineries, dog friendly too! If you come back to USA, 2 bottle per person limit. Hosts were great, friendly, and we will be coming back to bike ride the KVT which was right there also but ran out of time.

We had a great stay at Andy’s. The deck was perfect way to spend a quiet afternoon. We loved that most places we wanted to go were within walking distance

We had a delightful stay in gorgeous Naramata! Alan and Anna’s place is incredibly well-designed, and has comfort and care in mind down to the tiniest details. We really enjoyed having a spacious kitchen and bathroom, as well as a comfy king bed to retire to each night. The deck is truly great for relaxing at any time of day, and we had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. A&A were super communicative, and sent an email FULL of their faves including food, wine, and activities well before we arrived. This is a multi-suite house, so be aware that there may be other guests (as well as the hosts) around at all hours. Thanks for a nice stay!

Great place to stay if you are looking to be close to the lake and enjoy a pool. The home was super clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen included all the supplies to cook our own meals and the bbq was a nice bonus. Overall we were very happy with our experience. I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Barona Beach. The unit was very comfortable, spacious, and well stocked, and fit our two families perfectly. The kids loved sharing the huge bunk bed! It was also great to be on the ground floor and close to the pool, with a view of the mountains and lake from the patio. The pool and beach were fabulous, and we could walk to beautiful wineries! Thank you for a fun weekend!

Great location, right on the lake and next to Frind winery. Also, close to lots of other great wineries. Used the community pool and hot tub and were the only ones there. Had a wonderful time.

Wonderful weekend at Barb's, as always! Everything you need for a great weekend. One of my favorite places in BC.

We stayed at Michelle’s place for 6 days over the long weekend. There was space for 5 adults and a child so that we weren’t bumping into each other. The bunk beds in the large master bedroom closet is genius. From the moment we walked through the door it felt like home. Except for food and clothes you don’t need to bring anything else. Loved the outdoor spaces and I spent a lot of time on the front deck. Walking distance to the KVR trail to walk. We saw deer every morning and enjoyed the parks, general store for ice cream and the craft store. Tulameen is a hidden treasure and I hope that it can remain that way. As our 5 year old granddaughter left she said “can we just stay until Saturday or just come back again”. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Located in a peaceful private community, it's just a short walk to a sandy beach with stunning lake views. The cottage was clean, cozy, and spacious, with three bedrooms and great amenities, hot tub, pool table, fire pit, and even beach volleyball. We were pleasantly surprised to find a paddleboard on our last day! The area felt calm and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. Although we weren’t traveling with children, we appreciated the thoughtful baby items the host had provided, which shows how family-friendly the place is. The host’s attention to detail and care made our stay even more special. Highly recommended! We’d love to come back!

Dolores is a wonderful host and a human. Her place was accurately described. It was two doors down from where the google maps stopped us, as the number is followed by letters CD as well. But it wasn’t a trouble to find. The property itself could use a tad TLC but it wasn’t a deal breaker. It had all amenities. Dolores was extremely responsive, and helped us out if we needed anything right away. The door and sliding doors didn’t lock from the inside for us, but it felt like a very family and safe community and not once we felt unsafe even through the night. Being by the lake was a dream come true for us. The views from this place were breathtaking. Watching the sunrise and sunset right from our living room was like right out of a painting. The outdoor shower was wonderful!!!

Thanks so much to Shelley for a great weekend stay at the Trout Creek carriage house! Our family had an absolutely wonderful trip, and a big part of that was the fantastic accommodations. Immaculately clean, fabulously comfortable, we felt right at home immediately and had every amenity we could wish. It was a perfect meander to the each the lake and winery nearby. Instructions were clear, we were greeted on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. We would happily stay again!

Great little cottage right on the lake with water toys for your use. Cottage is very well stocked with everything you will need which is always really nice in an AirBnB. The view from the dining room is beautiful. My only suggestions to the company that rents the place is to make the outdoors a little nicer. Weed, put a few hardy flowers in and maybe an outdoor dining table with a few lie down loungers would be perfect (since most the time you are outside enjoying the lake). Would rent again.

My family and I felt right at home at Russell’s place with lots of space for everyone,games and even kid friendly silverware. My family did experience some inconveniences and Russel was very responsive but his directions were not helpful. Heating the home was a bit of a challenge it being very chilly at night and early morning and thermostat not working properly but we adjusted. The home needs to be updated in a few areas but over all a beautiful home that my family would recommend and hopes to back and visit soon. I also would recommend Russel and thankful for his hospitality
