Omomachi Shopping Street, the center of Okayama, is just a short walk from our place. It is a shopping street with an arcade, so you can walk comfortably on rainy days. There are many unique shops such as old-fashioned Japanese sweets shops, popular local cafes, fashionable sundry stores, thrift stores, and bookstores, and you can enjoy the local atmosphere of Okayama. There are also events and festivals every season, making it a fun place to just walk.
