Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Okeechobee County

Chet house on the canal was absolutely beautiful and cozy!! My family and I felt right at home we did not want to leave ! Very clean and spacious, even when we had a minor issue with the tub Chet responded at a timely manner and even came over the following morning to fix the issue !! Will def recommend and will book again !!! P.s. I wanted to live on that back porch it was so peaceful and siren

We rented without much notice and he just had renters leave. He promptly contacted me to let me know he was heading there to clean and approved our request to rent. We arrived as Gary was wrapping up the cleaning which was probably about 2 hours later we were able to meet him for a short conversation before taking possesion for a few days. What a beautiful home. Everything we needed to make our meals. I loved that the homes living area was more masculine in the decor and not hunter masculine, I thought this was a unique touch that i haven't seen in many airbnb. The mixture of vintage and new decor throughout the home, kitchen area especially is exactly how have been invisioning my new kitchen once my new home is built. This place is perfect we absolutly loved staying there. This was a home that felt like home and not like a hotel but also not like the owners lived there and just left for a few days while we rented. I enjoyed the back deck and our dog loved fenced yard. Recommend 100%

Jose’s place accommodated our family of 5 nicely! It was well stocked, clean, comfortable and cool! So important in South Florida! The backyard was lovely with seating for our whole family! It was close enough to town to make store runs a breeze! The kitchen had everything from pots and pans to grilling utensils and plenty of silverware, cups, plates and bowls! The beds were so comfortable! We felt right at home at Jose’s place and would definitely stay here again! Jose was friendly and helpful and stayed in touch with me to make sure our stay was going smoothly. He also got right back to me if I had a question. The dock out back was a perfect fit for our 22’ bay boat and having a boat ramp onsite was a DREAM! The filet table and wash down area was awesome!! Even had lights if you get back after dark! Thank you Jose for sharing your home with us!

Really can not say enough about how wonderful the home was. I did not need to cook but everything you could need was in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable, hot water lasted, easy check in/out. Clear instructions. Beautiful and well maintained.

The photos don't do this place justice, we were just looking for a 4 bedroom place to stay for a fishing tournament, now we're looking for any reason to come back so we can stay here again. Awesome place, 5 stars all the way!

Perfect lakefront location for our long weekend getaway! The home has it’s own boat ramp which makes for easy launching and lake access. Additionally, the ramp is concreted and the water is deep enough that there were no concerns with launching a heavy bass boat. The home itself was well stocked and had any supplies we needed during our stay. Clean, well taken care of and cared for. We felt very comfortable during our stay and will definitely plan to visit again in the future. Also close to the lock if you wish to go out into the main lake as well, though we tend to be quite comfortable on the canal side. We caught plenty of bass and even one over 8lbs! 😊

We had a wonderful time here! The house was clean and comfortable and we had plenty of supplies in the kitchen to cook several meals and even used the grill! The deck and screened in room came in super handy. I loved sitting on the deck my coffee in the mornings listening to all the birds, very peaceful. We need to work on our fishing skills- as we didn’t not have much luck by the house, but we will come back and try again.

It was a beautiful home in a very convenient location and quiet neighborhood.
