Family-friendly holiday rentals in Old Aberdeen

Fantastic stay at Capo Farmhouse. Brilliant location, gorgeous house and a very helpful and very responsive to any questions or help that we required. We stayed for a special birthday and felt right at home and staying with Caroline made our special trip extra perfect.

Me and my friends travelled from Edinburgh for a weekend away to celebrate all of our birthdays, but also to have a weekend of relaxation which was needed for us all. Upon arrival parking the car was extremely easy as the drive was right outside the lodge, getting In was as simple as it could be with a key safe for easy access. As soon as we entered the lodge everyone complemented the decor and just how clean everything was! And it smelt great, the lodge offers a cute and cosy feel and was equipped with everything you could possibly need, the beds were so comfy and soft, I had a great sleep on both night we were there. Lorna thought of everything as she left us essentials such as butter, bread, milk and even granola yoghurt and strawberry’s for breakfast. The hot tub was clean and well looked after, it was also hot! Which is some places you don’t get, surrounding the hot tub it also had lights which made the night time experience even more enjoyable. We will be back!

Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

Fabulous stay in this beautiful home. The living space is very special and perfect for hosting a big party. The house is set on lovely grounds and the garden has a idilic outlook onto the surrounding fields. The house is very private and we could totally relax to enjoy the huge space to let the kids run around. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and fab to have 3 bathrooms to cater for everyone. The house has everything you’ll need inside, Bea has thoughtfully set up the house to cater for all - families to party groups. The house is expensive to stay in, however it is unique building and boasts many amenities. It is worth its value. We were sorry to not be able to use the jacuzzi on our visit, but for an extra £250 we couldn’t justify this as our use would be limited to evening, as jacuzzi unsuitable and unsafe with small children around during the day. Bea was very understanding at our disappointment however this is an Airbnb management issue. Overall a wonderful stay.

Brilliant place could not be better very quiet area good value for the money lots of woodland walks from the studio. within walking distance of shops and restaurants

Everything was as stated, including kitchen bathroom utilities, and a some useful necessities, wifi ,spices, shampoo, soap, dishing/washmachine tabs etc and home produced yoghurt and berries to give me a headstart for my 14 days stay Jane was very helpful and answered my questions swiftly, and was just across the road if any need. So a very nice stay, and would gladly return

This stay is a very nice apartment with great amenities! The washer/dryer is very helpful, but it’s also just such a nice large living place to settle in for a bit.

Beautiful place, super close to a great grocery store. I will add the kitchen has very meager cooking items such as pans or cutting boards making it a challenge to prepare meals. The rest of the place was very nice though.

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

We had a great stay and would stay again. :) Loved the little touches, like cookies, water and coffee as well as supplied laundry detergent. Communication was timely and supportive.

My family have stayed at this apartment quite a few times.The apartment was immaculate when we arrived with a gift of delicious shortbread left for us.The apartment is spacious, well equipped,comfortable and well located for all the amenities.

Perfect place! We had a wonderful stay at Sheila’s cottage. It is beautiful, in a peaceful location with incredible views. The cottage was well appointed with everything we needed. Everything provided was great quality and the place was spotless. Comfy beds, great coffee machine and a lovely welcome gift. We are regular visitors to the area as we have family near by, we will absolutely be checking availability here first when planning our next trip.

Great place for a large group to stay, very comfortable.

We went to Inverurie for the birth of our first grandchild and found the apartment to be an ideal base. Nice sized two bedrooms and good sized bathrooms. Very peaceful yet close to Inverurie town centre Highly recommended Colin was always responsive to our queries and Karen his cleaner was first class - very warm and friendly

This caravan is in a quiet location between Montrose and St Cyrus.

great location,comfy warm accomodation with everything you would require , suited a disabled relative with downstairs bedroom and bathroom ,easy access into the house . property well located for walks along the shore and for the fit and healthy plenty good walks to neighbouring village ,well situated for exploring other towns . found the hotel a bit pricey ,but cafe would highly recommend,well stocked shop in the village and lobster shop I did have the lobster and crab roll, very tasty . overall we would go back ,we were lucky enough to have good weather and we did love the location.

My son and his family stayed in Diana’s place and it was perfect. Especially the games room which we all enjoyed. The flat was central to the village and all amenities. It was perfect and we will use it again.

Rosie’s place was nice and warm with underfloor heating, all kept cosy with Rae-burn Stove. Nice big kitchen. Amazing sea views from the upstairs bedrooms. Very good to have blackout blinds. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

We had to amend our booking and Emma was really helpful. She visited us and was super-helpful in answering our queries. A lovely apartment in a delightful harbour village.

Place as described and extremely convenient for an event at Meldrum House Hotel.

The apartment is in a nice location and the check-in and check-out was flexible. Highly recommended to stay here.
