Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kostrena

We had a great time away from the hustle and bustle of tourism! A very sweet cottage that was very clean. Communication also worked very well. However, you always need a car for activities. The town of Krk is 48 minutes away and very worth seeing. I particularly liked the beaches in Kostrena!

We spent there 4 nights with a group of 9 Teenagers. The house is very clean and there was enough space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and there is also a grill to use. The location of the house is just 2 minutes away from the beach. The owner is very kind. We would definitely recommend the house for young people as well as families.

Hosts were communicative and flexible with my arrival time, due largely to some inclement weather and I wasn't sure quite when I'd arrive. I appreciated the host's flexibility. Thank you.

Biserka and her family's house was perfect! Biserka and her family are very friendly and always there if you need something or have a question. The house is in a quiet location and has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning. The house is really tasteful and beautifully furnished down to the last detail. The cleanliness is perfect! The bedrooms are on the 1st floor. Air conditioning available. TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The best thing was the kitchen, which is fully equipped and you can prepare your meals like you would at home. You rarely find something like this. The house is a dream and everything is really perfect! You can't have it better. I can only recommend the location to everyone! We'd love to come back. We say thank you to Biserka, Vjeko and Alen for their hospitality. The house is also ideal for families with 2 to 3 children. And animals are allowed too. You can only give full stars as a rating here.

I spent 3 nights at Dunja’s place, and I wish I booked 3 more ! She made me feel very welcome by making me traditional Croatian coffee when I arrived, and gave me a few local recommandations too. Just a warning, this is a very small village, and if you don’t have a car getting around the region might be a bit difficult, especially cause there’s not that many buses, but I knew it from the beginning and that’s exactly what was appealing to me so I’m not complaining! The place is small but very clean, and stayed cool even though the weather wasn’t ! I would definitely recommend a stay here :)

We had a wonderful stay. The Pool is really Great and relaxing. We loved the Grill and the Host ist really kind.

Marcel and Tina's place is fantastically beautiful. All rooms including outdoor facilities are furnished with love for detail. The separate bedrooms with respective bathrooms were ideal. The outdoor area with magnificent views, outdoor kitchen, two sun loungers, hot tub, seating, etc. are also a highlight and the property is in a quiet location. We found the house in very clean condition, the check-in went smoothly. The beach can be reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes. There are some bars and also the possibility of a massage, which we highly recommend. Rijeka is worth seeing and easily accessible by car. A supermarket is about 10 minutes by car. Marcel responded within a short time, we had questions and also equipped ourselves in advance with great excursions and restaurant tips. We are still quite inspired by our week in this beautiful house and in this great spot of earth.

The flat is nicely furnished, right next to the church in the old town. The ringing was loud at first, but you can get used to it. Thank you for the great welcome from Antonija and Zrinko, we spent nice days in Bakar. Would recommend to everybody.

Our 10-day stay with two toddlers in the place was great. Check-in with Sanja's father, who lives directly above the apartment, was good and hassle-free. He showed us everything and even offered to accompany us by car in the village and show the best swimming opportunities for toddlers. All the utensils you need were even on site (washing machine, detergent, towels, linens (replacement), dishwashing tabs, shower gel, shampoo, soap, dish towels, toilet paper, kitchen roll, grill (coal on site), fully equipped kitchen. In the evening you could stay on the terrace right outside the entrance door. We always drove to the water, as the path was too far and steep with two toddlers. But there are several beautiful places nearby to swim in the sea. We personally also drove a little further and looked for great beaches. We recommend the place and had a great vacation.

We were notified immediately about the check-in. Everything worked great. We were very warmly welcomed and everything was explained to us. We felt at home in the great apartment and the place with its bays and fish restaurants, the pizzeria and the sunsets from the terrace at Monika's were beautiful. We will come back and wish Monika all the best for the future.

Very nice house, well-maintained yard, good entrance, free parking is 50 meters away. To the beach maximum 10 min. walking. The beach is small, not too crowded and clean. The hostess of the house is very smiling and friendly, the staff is hospitable. We were very satisfied with our stay at Nancy's place. The price and quality are in full.

Upon arrival, Marcelo greeted me in an almost family type of way. You can tell he, and his son Bruno, care deeply about their property and have the guest’s best interests in mind. They are extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any questions you have. They truly wish for you to have the best stay possible and will bend over backwards to make sure of it. Highly recommend!!!

A great place to stay and a host, 5 minutes to the sea. Beaches and sea clean, great coastal walks. Lots of good restaurants . Recommended. Radka

I really liked the apartment, furnished with taste, has everything you need. Everywhere is clean. 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets, which is very convenient when you are a lot. The sea is 10 minutes away, but in the heat it's hard to climb when you have to go up. The host gives detailed instructions and recommendations, for which we thank you. A place to come back to again!

We had a great vacation in the apartment. The hosts are very nice. We were received in a very friendly manner by Denis' mother. The apartment is very well equipped and really very nicely located. The view from the terrace is also fantastic and there are two beautiful beaches within walking distance. You can make very good day trips to Rijeka or Krk. Highly recommended!!

This is a great spot to stay if you want some absolutely beautiful views! It was quiet and peaceful for my stay. Matthias was ver helpful and responsive. I would recommend staying here.

Mira is a lovely host, who was more than happy to accommodate and help despite a language barrier. The apartment is a little tough to get to; on a steep residential street so be aware of that. However, when you reach it, you have a lovely view of the city, looking exactly like the photos, and a lovely clean apartment. Thank you Mira for a lovely stay. :)

They’re truly amazing people and hosts! I guess it was our best Airbnb experience ever :) (most probably we will come back to Rijeka and stay there again)✨✨

We had an amazing time in Irenas Happy beach Apartmen! Such a cozy place and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need! The view is stunning and it’s soooo quiet. We just relaxed and in enjoyed the silence. The sea is amazing and the spot directly in front of the house is also awesome for snorkelling! We found all sorts of fish, crabs, starfish, shrimps! In a 10-15 min walk alongside coats you can reach two beach bars, really cozy. In Rijeka you can shop everything. And in addition to all that, Irena is such a welcoming, friendly host! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Irena!

As the host mentioned, the apartment is on the 5th floor without elevator. But other than forced exercise every day, it’s a great place with an ocean view and great location with easy access to restaurants, local farmers markets, city center and parking lot. Excellent place.

A comfortable choice for 2-4 people in close driving distance to Rijeka. The terrace was very nice and outside chairs and sofa were very comfortable. The kitchen has a lot of amenities and the two bedrooms are cozy enough with a lot of closet space. There is one main bathroom with a very comfortable shower and then a smaller nook with a WC and sink. A short drive to the most economical parking lot of Rijeka (Delta). A reasonable price for sure. The host accommodated our early check-in and offered us a later check-out if we needed it (which we didn’t)
