This is a quaint and cozy home, we really enjoyed it. It is a bit of a walk to town, but that also made it a very pleasant and quiet location. Even and Randi were very helpful and responded quickly to all questions. Excellent choice for a stay in Trondheim.

We had a fabulous time and this house was lovely. Beautiful views, and we walked to the beach regularly. Highly recommend.

We stayed two weeks in this wonderful cabin. It is in the middle of the wood Bymarka (verbatim “Tømmerdalen”) but the drive to Trondheim is only 10 minutes through the woods (lighted at night) and another 5 through the outskirts down the hill (over 20 speedbumps). You can walk 10 mins to Kobberdammen lake and another 30 minutes around it, or further 30 minutes down to Lavollen for a cup of coffee. The core nature reserve starts almost next to the house, inviting for more hikes. From the living room and the kitchen you have a beautiful view over the yard and into the woods. A small brook flow through the yard, there are many birds, and we saw several deer pass by. There is a fence, but it is not the strongest and because of the wildlife you should always keep your dog on leash. Couch, bath, kitchen, bedding everything is clean, modern but scandinavic comfortable. We had a wonderful time and will always want to come back!

It was a cosy place, though being relatively small it had everything any guest needs. Christine was very friendly as well! Definitely recommended place to stay in the area and I would 100% come again.

Great place and we enjoyed 6 adults and 4 children had a great time. Lovely view . Nice for the kids with swimming and playing and fishing by the water . Was well taken care of when something needed fixing . 😊

Everything was perfect! The host was very friendly and proactive and we enjoyed some really relaxing days there. The house was super modern, the beds were comfy and you literally have no neighbours around you! Definitely recommend and would come back.

We had a wonderful time with lots of snow at Metalhytte! With a fire going and a magical snowscpae outside it was incredibly cozy. Egil was very helpful with every question and communication was easy. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to just spend some time away from everything else. I imiagine it's beautiful in the summer as well :)

Seemed a bit smaller than in the photos, but great location (at the end of the dirt road, quiet, beautiful, close to hiking area,...) and pleasantly decorated (though little light)….

Linn's place is truly the perfect mountain retreat! The cabin is beautiful, the location is stunning and the view is incredible. We initially planned on staying a week but then extended our trip because we just didn't want to leave! It's also worth noting you'll feel right at home here. The beds are comfortable, the house is cozy and has everything you need! We will certainly be back next winter to explore more of the ski trails and mountains just beyond the front door! Every room was warm, inviting, and impeccably clean. The beds Absolute heaven–so cozy and comfortable, we slept better than we ever have.The view-breathtaking.Imagine waking up to Norwegian nature all around you – mountains, trees, the calming silence. It was truly a fairytale setting. The kitchen was fantastically equipped. Incredible entertainment options-A hot tub under the stars, a basketball hoop,board games, a proper firepit for a cozy bonfire or bbq-the perfect blend of nature and relaxation.Whether we wanted to unwind or have fun, this place had it all.Peaceful, luxurious, an experience we'll never forget!

We are a family of 5 who were lucky enough to borrow the cabin this Easter 2025. Have fun with crabbing from the pier, fishing from the pier and sand castles construction on the sandy beach. All this is 5 meters from the cabin. There was good communication with the landlord and everything was clean and tidy. We would gladly came back again😊
