We are family of four. Our house is faced to the longest and deepest Norway fjord Sognefjord. From location opens an amazing view to the fjords and mountains. The village we live is loved by thousands of tourists from all over the world.
“Great view, free parking for the car nearby, the apartment is small but very functional with everything you need! Communication with Ruta is easy, everything was very well indicated, in short It was perfect. Thank you Ruta!”
This is an old West coast summer house that was totally remodeled in 2017. It has the most stunning view of the fjord and the mountains with small charming islands in the foreground. The area is perfect for fishing, swimming in the fjord, walks and relaxation.
“This is the perfect escape. It’s secluded, quiet and with the most beautiful views, but also has beautiful interiors and facilities (coffee, dishwasher, lovely bathroom, wood burner) that make it extremely comfortable. Hans couldn’t have been a better host - he was super responsive and the guides left in the house gave us lots of ideas for walks. It is remote - we wouldn’t have wanted to do it without a car, and there are not pubs or restaurants nearby. But we wanted an escape from the city and got exactly that - and there is a good shop a 5 minute drive away. We hiked on the mountains on the island, fished in the fjord, read by the fire and slept amazingly well every night. And the views are unparalleled. Thank you Hans!!”
My place is located on the Kråko cabin in Fitjar municipality. Perfect place for recreation and life enjoyment. Small crawl space for 2 people. Full kitchen, bathroom and the amenities needed. Lots of great hiking. Perfect base for kayaking in an Eldorado of small and large islands. In addition, there is a short distance to Midtfjellet where there are over 30 km of dirt roads in the middle of the mountain. Perfect for walking and cycling.
“The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures, just next to the sea in a very calm and silent area. We were there on September and it was rainy and a bit cold outside, but the cabin was really comfortable and welcoming. You can hear the rain outside and see it droping in the sea. Moreover, since it was not high season, there were less people around, so it was even more relaxing. You can find some pasta, sugar, etc and some drinks in the fridge that Martin has kindly left in place. The matresses to sleep in the main room are really comfortable. The bathroom is also new and it is clean, and the shower has good pressure. Pls notice that you are requested to clean the cabin at your leaving, but it is worth it. We would definitely love to come back.”
