The area offers many opportunities for relaxing walks, mushroom picking and excursions. If you need to shop, there are several grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants and shops in Örkelljunga, Våxtorp and Ängelholm, among others. Butiker och service finns inom 10-15 minuter med bil. Det finns även ett stort urval av olika aktiviteter i närområdet.

Här finns skogen precis runt hörnet och endast 350 meter till sjön där det går att bada. För den som gillar vandring finns Björsåkra naturreservat bara ett par kilometer bort. För den som vill ha lite mer fart och fläkt finns Kungsbygget Äventyrspark 3km bort och det är 8km till Vallåsens bikepark.
