Hege is a very nice and friendly host. The place is great, it’s cozy, clean, comfortable, with a nice water view. We enjoyed our stay, and we definitely recommend Hege’s place!

Ann is a great host. The apartment is absolutely stunning with a mesmerising view of the mountains. Its a pristine surrounding. With the mountains staring right outside the balcony what else do you need for a vacation! It was an amazing experience alltogether. The apartment is well organised and very clean. If I ever again come in Bergen, I would want to stay here. Highly recommended to anyone coming to Bergen, the city of seven mountains!

Great place to stay if you are visiting Bergen, the tram into the city centre runs from outside the building. The supermarket and bakery in the same building means you don’t have to go looking.

Wonderful little apartment in a very convenient location in the city centre. Marita met us for check-in an explained everything perfectly. The place is as described and pictured. Quiet and cozy and good to have an elevator up to the top floor. The balcony is a nice touch. Once out of the front door and around the first corner you are in the thick of everything in downtown Bergen. Tomas and Marita are wonderful hosts and their apartment is an absolute credit to them. We will return.

The accommodation was clean, modern and very well located. Kevin was a great host – always quick to reach and helpful. I felt completely comfortable. Clear recommendation!

We had a lovely couple of days at this place, the view from the balcony is as good as advertised. Bergen city centre is an easy bus ride away.

Our stay was perfect, the apartment is very nice, we spent a lot of time there because of the weather, it was really very spacious and ideal. If you want to come to Bergen, Marianne's is the place to come!

Lovely apartment with picture postcard views

Christen is unlike any other host. He met me at the bus stop and helped me with the luggage. He has a handwritten book of recommendations on where to eat and what to do, along with helpful instructions for the stay. He had left a bottle of wine, and cookies and coffee for me, which was very thoughtful. The place is super walkable to the city centre and the tour/airport bus stops. While central, it’s also tucked away from all the city centre madness and thereby offers a quiet and relaxing place to stay after a busy day of exploring the beauty of Norway. Christen was very friendly, flexible and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a central place to stay in Bergen (as long as they don’t mind climbing up a few flight of stairs). Thanks for the lovely time in Bergen, Christen! Hope to stay here again when my travels bring me back to the incredibly beautiful city of Bergen. :) Cheers!

Perfect base for a few days exploring Bergen, Norway! The Fløibanen funicular ran every 30 minutes from the mid-station nearby, making it super easy to get to the city center and back. The apartment is located in the basement, so even with 24°C outside, it stayed cool and comfortable inside. There are no windows, but it didn’t feel closed in at all—especially in the bedroom, where the darkness made it perfect for a good night’s sleep. The bed was amazing—we slept incredibly well. The kitchen is small but fully usable, and the air fryer was a great touch! Svein also gave us a tip about a viewpoint just behind the house with beautiful views over Bergen. Definitely worth a visit. A cozy and quiet place to stay while enjoying everything Bergen has to offer!

Short distance to beautiful nature, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, welcoming and friendly host who could both tip us about hiking opportunities and turn off a friendly chat. We had a fantastic stay in Bergen. The apartment was very centrally located, close to the action and transport. Our host was very informative and excellent at replying. to communications. The apartment was perfect for us, small kitchen where we could store food and have the utensils to whip up breakfast and lunch, and a nice tv that had all kinds of apps loaded that we could log in to. We watched some of our Netflix while we were there. The couch pulls out to a very comfortable futon, I prefer a firmer mattress and it suited me just fine. The shower was so powerful it jet washed me, loved it. The roof deck is a great little area to just sit and relax and enjoy the sights over Bergen. We did the Vidden hike from Ulriken to Floyen and we could see our route from the rooftop. I would strongly suggest a stay here if you want affordable, comfortable, well located pad, to sleep and prepare for excellent adventures in and around Bergen.. :O)

Great location - near to town but slightly elevated so had a great view and v quiet. Well equipped - we cooked every evening and we had everything we needed. Comfortable and homely and I would highly recommend. Thanks!
