Hege is a very nice and friendly host. The place is great, it’s cozy, clean, comfortable, with a nice water view. We enjoyed our stay, and we definitely recommend Hege’s place!

Gretha and Ali were incredible hosts to us for our first few nights of our Norway trip. The location is ideal and central to everything . It’s walkable from the end of the light rail in town and to the Havila terminal. Great advice on things to do and places to eat and visit. A great sunny spot and quietly tucked away. I’ll stay here if I ever return to Bergen.

Ann is a great host. The apartment is absolutely stunning with a mesmerising view of the mountains. Its a pristine surrounding. With the mountains staring right outside the balcony what else do you need for a vacation! It was an amazing experience alltogether. The apartment is well organised and very clean. If I ever again come in Bergen, I would want to stay here. Highly recommended to anyone coming to Bergen, the city of seven mountains!

The host responds quickly and the house is very comfortable and well equipped. To go to Bergen, you can go by car, bus or as We opted in a short walk, bus and boat. Both the bus and the boat pass frequently, so it was very quiet to go and go back to Bergen.

We had a lovely couple of days at this place, the view from the balcony is as good as advertised. Bergen city centre is an easy bus ride away.

Kristines apartment is extremely beautiful and cosy, just like the pictures. She responds quickly and the check in and out times are very generous. The fireplace is very cosy and she provides firewood for a resonable fee. Guests who are physically large should be aware that the shower is a little narrow and they could have trouble getting in.

Visit number 2 - I guess that says most of it. Here is everything as expected and then some. Then we'll see when I'll be back next time

Lovely apartment with picture postcard views

Christen is unlike any other host. He met me at the bus stop and helped me with the luggage. He has a handwritten book of recommendations on where to eat and what to do, along with helpful instructions for the stay. He had left a bottle of wine, and cookies and coffee for me, which was very thoughtful. The place is super walkable to the city centre and the tour/airport bus stops. While central, it’s also tucked away from all the city centre madness and thereby offers a quiet and relaxing place to stay after a busy day of exploring the beauty of Norway. Christen was very friendly, flexible and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a central place to stay in Bergen (as long as they don’t mind climbing up a few flight of stairs). Thanks for the lovely time in Bergen, Christen! Hope to stay here again when my travels bring me back to the incredibly beautiful city of Bergen. :) Cheers!

Perfect base for a few days exploring Bergen, Norway! The Fløibanen funicular ran every 30 minutes from the mid-station nearby, making it super easy to get to the city center and back. The apartment is located in the basement, so even with 24°C outside, it stayed cool and comfortable inside. There are no windows, but it didn’t feel closed in at all—especially in the bedroom, where the darkness made it perfect for a good night’s sleep. The bed was amazing—we slept incredibly well. The kitchen is small but fully usable, and the air fryer was a great touch! Svein also gave us a tip about a viewpoint just behind the house with beautiful views over Bergen. Definitely worth a visit. A cozy and quiet place to stay while enjoying everything Bergen has to offer!

All in all a fantastic nice weekend in quiet and great surroundings. Short distance to beautiful nature, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, welcoming and friendly host who could both tip us about hiking opportunities and turn off a friendly chat. We had a fantastic stay in Bergen. The apartment was very centrally located, close to the action and transport. Our host was very informative and excellent at replying. to communications. The apartment was perfect for us, small kitchen where we could store food and have the utensils to whip up breakfast and lunch, and a nice tv that had all kinds of apps loaded that we could log in to. We watched some of our Netflix while we were there. The couch pulls out to a very comfortable futon, I prefer a firmer mattress and it suited me just fine. The shower was so powerful it jet washed me, loved it. The roof deck is a great little area to just sit and relax and enjoy the sights over Bergen. We did the Vidden hike from Ulriken to Floyen and we could see our route from the rooftop. I would strongly suggest a stay here if you want affordable, comfortable, well located pad, to sleep and prepare for excellent adventures in and around Bergen.. :O)
