Fretheim Farm. Architect-designed cabin.

Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.

This is the place to rent if you want a very special romantic and primitive stay with absolutely outstanding views. This is a small cabin with double bed. Shared kitchen, toilet and bathroom in the main house.

Flåm Retreat - Exclusive and sustainable mini-house

Flåm Retreat's minihouse is a sustainable and exclusive cabin designed by Snøhetta, with a focus on reducing human impact on nature. Enjoy panoramic views of Flåmsdalen, tranquility, and some of the world’s most stunning scenery. The mini-house has two double beds and sleeps four comfortably. A fifth guest can use the sofa bed for NOK 250. From May to September, we require a 2-night minimum stay. Single-night gaps will be released as they become available.

Apartment in Kaland, Vallavik in Hardanger

This is a place far away from busy city streets. The area is rural with views of the fjord and mountains. A slightly steep road and a few turns lead you here to peace and quiet, secluded in a small rustic apartment in a basement, with lots of nature available. The apartment is furnished with a small section with a kitchen that contains the necessary equipment to prepare simple meals, and with simple furniture. It has a tiled bathroom with a shower. Wi-Fi.
