Guest house holiday rentals in Oslo Municipality

We were a group of 4 people with a kid. The stay was very nice. The landlords were always available for communication. They even offered tips for sightseeing.

This was a great place to stay to get away from the city and to enjoy nature. The house was very welcoming and I loved sitting on the front porch to drink coffee in the mornings. It is a 40-minute transit via ferry to Oslo, which is fun and relaxing. You can also walk 5 minutes down to the water and relax in the lawn or the sand. 10/10 experience!

Morten is a very pleasant host, pleasant arrival and got some tips about the local area. The location was very nice and quiet, short know by car to very mangr sights and Oslo city center. Several bathing places within walking and cycling distance. Great location for us during our stay.

Loved the place. Beautiful little house with character. 5 of us stayed and it was comfortable. Host was amazing. Showed the house around and set up the heating etc. The boat was an added bonus. Children had a great time. Just a shame the weather wasn’t the best but we made the most of it.

everything was perfect. the owners are fantastic, the accommodation offers a unique experience. magnificent view of the fjord and perfect harmony with the life it offers. highly recommended

Absolutely stunning views and a lovely clean place to stay

Peaceful and idyllic surroundings, with views from the kitchen over the forest and vegetable garden. Charming decor and the place was experienced as clean and tidy. Helle was also welcoming with check-in time and gave clear instructions on how to get there. When we arrived late at night, the host put out lanterns to show us the way through the garden, which we appreciated. The price is somewhat high given the remote location, but you get peace in return. There is a spinning top and a low bed on the floor, but it works as long as you are aware of it. Thank you for staying in a cozy little place :)

Eric and Gitta's cottage suited us just fine. It was self-contained, located in a lovely garden within a semi-forested setting, and private with all the facilities we needed.

The cabin was very dreamy and it was in a very beautiful location. We could get the taxi easily and it wasn’t too far from the centre of the city. The host was very friendly and informative, she responded almost immediately to everything. Will definitely come back!

Pretty amazing little triplex with: 1st Floor: An entrance 2nd floor: dining room, kitchen and bathroom 3rd floor: a small bedroom under the attic. The apartment is connected to the owners house even if it remains independent. However, the partitions are hardly thick. And the big bonus: the great view of Oslo Bay!

very nice experience, welcoming host, sociable but lets you do your own thing. outdoor sleeping area is awesome. the views are beautiful and comfortable bed. the area of Oslo is the new, smart area. you have to travel out a bit from there to get more 'quirky' things. extremely clean. thank you

A nice place to stay, met my requirements perfectly

The place was on two floors with two bathrooms, laundry room with tumble dryer, washing machine. The kitchen had an induction stove, oven and dishwasher. There were also air fryers, egg cookers, all kinds of knives, glasses, plates and all other kitchen utensils in abundance. Quiet and calm surroundings, 4 min to the subway Oppsal station and easy to find the address. Prix, kiosk and Oppdal Senter with 15 shops including Meny, pharmacy, Normal etc. local greengrocer and cozy café, bar and restaurant vis avis the center. There was also a thrift store, on the outside of the center. There were also nice fellow guests from other parts of the world and everyone took care of each other. Will return here! Recommended :)

Nice room with a lot of space. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with multiple rooms, but never a problem. Well connected by metro to the centre. Great value

I loved the experience I had at Camilla’s house. People are amazing there, I had such a peaceful time while being there, also had fun! Absolutely recommended, it’s literally 2 minutes away from the metro by foot. Highly suggest to stay here!!

We were initially a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but we ended up pleasantly surprised. The house has several rooms and other guests, but everyone was quiet and respectful, which made for a comfortable stay. While Camilla was away and slow to respond, someone was managing the place on her behalf and was very helpful. The shared kitchen was clean, and the atmosphere was friendly. If you're traveling on a budget and don’t mind a more basic, non-updated room, this place is a good choice.

The room was very comfortable; I slept well. Really appreciated the proximity to public transport and being able to leave my luggage in the house before my evening flight.
