Explore our beautiful island by car, or by boat on the fjord in great nature. You can also drive 45 min by car to the city of Bergen, the capital of the west that we love so much!

Nice house with boat at Osterfjorden

Here you can enjoy the lake with the boat located in the jetty, 5 min walk from the house. 45 min drive to Bergen. In the surrounding area you can take mountain trips, visit the beautiful beach as well as sand volleyball and tennis court at Hjellvik, 2 km away. A 14-foot plastic boat from 2021 with a new 6 hp located in the jetty 400 m from the house is included in the rent. There are also 2 bicycles in the basement. Osterøy is a great starting point for nice mountain trips. Tirevollfjellet at 303 meters above sea level, is 1 hour walk from the door.

Cozy cottage

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. Mountains right behind the house with several hiking opportunities, and lake below. In summer, a SUP board can be borrowed by appointment. The hosts live in the farmhouse (the largest house) in the yard. In the yard there are also 3 cats, 5 rabbits, and currently 2 ponies. Otherwise, many mountain hikes and hiking opportunities on Osterøy, e.g. Bruviknipa, Kossdalssvingane +++ Distance to Bergen: 32 km, about 35 min by car. You can take the train from Arna to Bergen, it takes about 20 minutes.

Quiet place, with the fjord, nice to enjoy late sunsets or a kayak trip. You can fish right from your own quay, take a morning swim from the jetty or walk straight up the mountain. There are many nice hiking opportunities. Take the SUP board to the store or the brewery house. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the store, or Møllehuset which produces local seaweed and beer. Kossdalsvingene is 15 min away. Bruviknipa is located on Osterøy. Climbing wall right behind the house. Welcome 😊

Detached house with large garden right by the lake, rural and quiet area. Short distance to Bergen, either by car or bus to Arna terminal and train to the city. Double garage and guest parking. It takes about 10 min to the train station by car and 8 min by train, departure approx. every 15 min. Without a car, it takes about 12 min to walk up to the bus stop and 5 min by bus into Arna. There you will find a shopping center with a good selection of shops.
