From the moment I walked into Cheryl's place I knew I was in the right place. I loved everything about it. I was in Overland Park for a convention and ended up working long days. It was so nice to come home to such a peaceful and well-appointed space. The apartment is very spacious and has every thing you would ever need. It is within walking distance of downtown Overland Park, which is a lovely town with great places to eat and get coffee. Cheryl is a very friendly and attentive host. I loved that she cares about meeting her guests and I enjoyed my converstion with her and her husband. All around this apartment is a gem and I look forward to returning. Thank you Cheryl!

The apartment is in a great location, very close to restaurants and cafes, which made it easy to enjoy the neighborhood. The space was clean and had a good amount of room. Just be aware that the stairs leading up to the unit are quite steep, so it may not be ideal if you have heavy bags or mobility concerns. The biggest downside is the noise level. The apartment is on a busy street, and sound carries easily, especially loud voices at night. Not the best choice for light sleepers or anyone looking for a quiet place. That said, it’s a convenient and comfortable stay if location is your priority.

Really nice spot if you don’t want to worry about driving to places, lots of restaurants and places to shop as soon as you leave the place. You feel cozy and right at home once you come back from places!

Really neat building. Love the super clean space and the spacious room. Appreciate the appliances and the coffee/tea/granola bars available. Although short, we had an enjoyable stay.

This is a great location and if you are spending your time on Mass street it’s definitely where you want to be.

Great location in Overland Park! Private entrance and parking, easy check in and out. Perfect for a quick KC trip, you will need a car!

Kore’s place was beautiful and in the heart of Lawrence Kansas! Everything was perfectly clean, very modern, wonderful light, comfortable beds, and a lovely host! You CANNOT beat the location for the price. Overall this rental was exactly what we were looking for as far as being close to the river market but having a kitchen and try and save a bit instead of a hotel. We had some issues with cleanliness but they weren’t egregious and I got the impression that it was likely an accidental miss by the cleaners. A few things to note: the building is historic and not only are there stairs plentiful but they are steep and a little uneven. It was fine (if a workout) but if you have any mobility issues at all, friend this one isn’t for you. Also, the building is primarily an office building and directly below is an office that had people working at 9am on Saturday and when I say that I could hear every word they said from my bed I am not exaggerating but ironically the street was super quiet most of the time. Lastly, either ask for extra towels or bring your own bc they give you a minimum and no toiletries. For the money it was ultimately great for us!

Beautiful place to stay and very comfortable. We loved seeing all of the animals the dogs greeted us when coming and going and was so sweet and the kids loved seeing the horses

Angie was a great host and the apartment was just as described. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay there and would stay again if we ever need a place for a night or two in KC!

I love everything about this place *very clean *actually has free parking (follow in check in instructions) *food near by *easily accessible *near downtown *dishes were provided *kitchen available *Tv provided in both living and bedroom *bed was clean and comfy * Towels were sufficient, fluffy, and clean, *really spacious better than a hotel if you ask me❣️

Wonderful stay! Beautiful views and great walking. Parking was very nice, and we walked to a park for the sunset. The bed was super comfy, and home had everything we needed. Would stay again 100%!

We loved our stay at Abbeys! It was exactly what we needed for the weekend and we loved being able to walk everywhere that we needed to go. Great walkable dining and trails and very close to Whole Foods. Our dog was able to use a fully fenced backyard and we were so happy to have peace of mind with him in the home. Would love to stay again!

Great location for KU visit while having all the perks of Mass St. shops/restaurants/shopping steps away. Fun garage door open concept was perfect on a spring day and the Saturday farmers market right outside was a pleasant bonus. Once we mastered the parking app, things simplified- but it was a bit confusing at first as the app was having some technical issues with location. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and host was quickly responsive with some TV issues we had. We would definitely stay at The Happy Hawk again.
