Sunnanäng Hilltop - cozy with amazing views

It’s easy to feel at home here! The bed will be freshly made with sheets when you arrive, and clean towels will be provided. This is a truly cozy 27-square-meter (290-square-foot) cottage featuring a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, as well as a 29-square-meter (300-square-foot) veranda offering a magnificent view of Lake Siljan. The cabin is located on our own property (5,000 sqm) in the beautiful village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located along Lake Siljan, 10 minutes from central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg. There are lovely walking trails along Lake Siljan nearby, which can be enjoyed in both summer and winter.

The accommodation is a separate guest area in the house with its own entrance. It consists of one bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with a bunk bed, kitchen area and seating area. In the bathroom, there is a toilet, shower and washing machine. A large balcony faces the lake, with seating under a pergola, and guests have their own access to the entire balcony. Possibility to borrow a rowboat and life jackets. Towels and sheets are not included, but are available to rent for SEK 150/set. Cleaning is not included in the accommodation.

The cottage is located on the same property as the host couple, in a quiet residential area, close to Siljan (4 km to Leksand). There is access to a local beach for residents of the area. The forest is next to the house with cross-country ski tracks (up to Granberget ski resort). Suitable starting point for many activities; Sommarland (6 km), Tegera Arena and Lugnet's sports facility (about 5 km). By car, you will find many slalom slopes and the adjacent towns of Falun, Mora and Borlänge with many excursion destinations.

Cozy cottage near Siljan with its own terrace. Located in a quiet area and a bit away from the main building. The cottage has two floors. On the lower floor, a very small kitchen and dining area with space for four and a fireplace. Upstairs, there are two wall-mounted single beds and a 140 cm wide sofa bed. It is about 5 km to Tällberg and 7 km to Leksand. There is space to park a car next to the cottage in the yard. The shower and toilet have a separate entrance on the lower floor. Cleaning is not included.

About 5-10 minutes by car to Bjursås Berg och Sjö. 1.5 km walk to the ski center. Sleeps 4. Double bed, one single bed, plus two beds in sofa bed. (Can provide more beds with travel beds if needed). Wood-fired sauna available. Can be purchased for cleaning and rental of bed linen/towels. Smoke and pet-free.

This is the perfect starting point for your excursions. Bed linen and towels are provided, and electric car charging is available.

For car enthusiasts, Classic Car is a recurring annual event that can be enjoyed on the first floor.

Iconic 19th century Dalarna farmstead, quietly situated near Lake Siljan. A comfortable combination of modern facilities with many original details, including fully functional tiled stoves. DEPARTURE CLEANING, SHEETS AND TOWELS INCLUDED IN PRICE. A frequent comment from our guests is that their visit was too short. We recommend minimum three nights - there is much to see and experience, for all ages, in the area.
