Holiday rentals with beach access in Paje

Wanted a place to chill in Zanzy for 2 weeks. Kept searchingAirbnb for weeks. Millions of places out there but this unit kept coming up took it. No regrets at all. Yolanda’s place was fantastic. Looks exactly like the pictures, great location, super clean, safe, friendly staff, giant pool, amazing outdoor terrace for chilling. Yolanda was super responsive. Will 💯not hesitate to return

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the host for everything! Unfortunately, the trip was marred by a child's illness and had to be hospitalized in Nairobi. The host provided invaluable support, from finding medication to helping with the logistics of things. I wish them all the best! Just the human attitude and compassion cannot be appreciated in this review.....

Guru Guru Garden Houses are a small complex of holiday homes, each a bit different. We stayed in "Macondo house" with 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The mattresses were rather hard, there were different types of pillows to chose from, linen were spotlessly clean. Windows are unglazed, but covered with mosquito nets, there are wooden blinders that can be closed. This is rather a norm in Zanzibar and provides great natural ventilation, but if you are a light sleeper, you may be woken up by the sound of birds or a rain storm (we had quite a few during our stay). The bathrooms can best be described as practical (don't expect luxury equipment and fancy interior), but clean and fully adequate. The kitchen was nice and fully equipped - fridge, gas oven, sink, a wide variety of utensils, a blender, etc. There is also a great patio. The pictures are 100% accurate and present the house well. There is a safe for valuables you can lock. The complex is guarded 24/7. A great stay!

Super amazing Place. The resort it self is beautiful very green with a massive pool in the centre, Security is really good and felt super safe, it is 5/8 minute walk to the beach but you can negotiate down the little paths. The apartment, is in the last block so there is a few minute walk from the Main gate, but you can get taxi or motorbike taxi to drop you off at the door which is nice if you been out all day and evening, walking in to the apartment it is very bright and super clean, it has everything you could want even washing machine, (bring your own tablets or powder) The kitchen/Living room is nice to relax in and very quaint, there is a nice balcony with table and chairs to sit and just enjoy the peace in the evening, The shower and toilet is amazing, hot power shower, clean towels, The bed Is little small for myself, and little hard but that just my taste but I slept good. Overall a really beautiful new apartment, for the right money & great owners. Thanks so much

We really enjoyed our stay. Big windows letting in loads of light and right on top of the beach with the extra added bonus of being able to use the hotel facilities attached to the property, as its part of the hotel complex. Alex, the liason was very helpful and friendly. There are only two things I would mention that I personally believe would improve this Air BnB and they are - 1 - A TV for those chill nights in. 2 - A Microwave. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend it.

We stayed in Dan and Sofie's apartment for 5 weeks. And had a very pleasant stay. The apartment offers everything you need for a longer stay and is very clean. The outside location, especially the pool, is fantastic. Stores, restaurants and the beach are within walking distance. Dan and Sofie are great hosts and quick to help with any problems. Unfortunately the wifi in the apartment was not 100% stable during our stay. The router often lost the connection to our devices. We had technicians in the apartment several times unfortunately no real solution was found. The internet is definitely fast enough to work remotely. Only the connection is a problem. For video calls you should have a local sim card to be on the safe side.

El alojamiento era como se describía en un barrio tranquilo y a 30 metros de la playa, Ovi nos envió varias recomendaciones y la verdad que estuvimos muy a gusto. Por poner algo malo diría las hormigas, había muchísimas entre los enchufes y por toda la encimera de la cocina, ya que nos tocó la parte de abajo, ojalá nos hubiera tocado arriba, tuvimos que luchar con ellas bastante. Quitando eso, el resto súper bien. Es un lugar recomendable

Our stay in Paje was unforgettable. Just a 7-minute walk from the beach, the home offered peace and convenience. Airport pick-up and drop-off were smooth, and every morning began with a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit, fish, milk, eggs, nuts, and sourdough. Judith, our host, was fantastic—communication was easy, and she kindly recommended a nearby hospital when our daughter fell ill. The Balinese-inspired interiors were calming and beautiful, adding a special touch to our stay. Our daughters adored the bathtub and wouldn’t stop talking about it on the way home! The bedding was pure luxury, with pillows so soft you could melt in them. My wife and I spent peaceful afternoons by the pool, truly relaxed. This place was a dream, and we’ll definitely be back!

Perfect spot for a group! The villa is beautiful, clean, and has great common areas to relax together. The host was super responsive and friendly, and the staff provided top-notch service. We especially loved the delicious included breakfast. Clean rooms, clean pool — everything was just right. Highly recommend!

We loved loved loved our stay at Wakushi house. Rebecca and Amani were so helpful and sweet people to be around and their place is just amazing. It is simply beautiful and very airy which is important on such a hot island. But it was the little details that stood out- fresh flowers, self-colored towels and handmade soap (which you can also purchase as a souvenir). Rebecca was also super helpful to arrange some trips and even took me to her yoga class. This might have been my best Airbnb-find ever!

Ernst ist ein sehr guter Gatsgeber . Er reagiert sofort und Hilft immer .Alles ist sehr gut Organisiert.Die Hilfe vor Ort hat er sehr gut geregelt. Es ist immer ein Ansprechpartner da.Vielleicht mal über ein Notstromaggregat nachdenken......Das Haus liegt direkt am Strand , nur wenige Schritte zum Meer.Absolut Ruhige Lage.Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit dort.

Das Anwesen ist super schön. Durch den grossen Garten hat man seine Privatsphäre und ist trotzdem in der Nähe von Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Am besten war das Aussenbett ❤️ mit einem wahnsinns Blick über Strand und Ozean. Wir haben viel Zeit auch dem Balkon verbracht und einfach genossen. Rama und Tatu haben sich liebevoll um uns gekümmert und bei Fragen sofort reagiert 😊 Für alle die gerne etwas Ruhe haben möchten aber trotzdem mitten drin sein möchten absolut empfehlenswert

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

Lovely home—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Great location and very comfortable stay. The host was kind and responsive. Only thing I would recommend is a sign because it was pretty hard for the taxi to find us. I’m already planning on coming back next year with my family hopefully this house is available!

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mireille’s. She kindly arranged for transport from the airport (highly recommended as otherwise we probably would not have been able to find it ourselves). The place has everything we needed for our getaway. The plunge pool was wonderful. The location was great—the beach was a short walk away and we were spoilt for choice with restaurants. We would def stay here again!

Fumba Town is a very nice place to stay: close to the beach and not far from Stone Town and the airport. The apartment is very neat and with tasteful furniture and good facilities like a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. An umbrella came in handy too :-) because it was the rainy season. Kwetu kwenu beach club is nearby and chill with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended, the apartment and the town.

Mohu ubytování jen doporučit, od komunikace po rezervaci, přes odvoz z letiště až po přivítání a ubytování na apartmán, se vším jsme byli spokojeni. Rodinný apartmán poskytuje dostatek prostoru a vynikající vybavení pro vaření. Postele jsou velmi pohodlné a terasa skvěle uzpůsobená k odpočinku v soukromí díky vzrostlým nádherně kvetoucím keřům. Dále parádní byla velkorysá snídaně v ceně a 2 bazény, z nichž minimálně jeden z nich jsme měli kdykoliv jen pro sebe. Areál je velmi dobře udržovaný, bazény čisté a okolí apartmánů opečovávané. Na pláž je to asi 5 minut chůze a stejně tak na začátek vesnice, kde člověk může nakoupit vše, co potřebuje a navíc i při procházce pozorovat místní život. Moc děkujeme majitelům a celému personálu za skvělý pobyt.

Zanzibar house, fait parti d’un de mes meilleurs Airbnb. Le logement est très propre, cuisine équipée (avec cuisto sur place pour le déjeuner et le repas, c’est le rêve!) Quant à la vue, face à la mer dès le matin pour passer des vacances de rêve Une personne de référence est sur place, et joignable! Rien à dire, je conseil fortement

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.

Fantastiska boende med underbar uteplats och härliga ytor. Hela stället andas lugn och bekvämlighet och poolen är underbar. Stranden ligger nära men är inte speciellt fin men det finns snabb och prisvärd transport till Paje som har en underbar strand. Skulle definitivt komna tillbaka och bo här igen.

The stay at Mars place was excellent. The place looked exactly like the images. It was very clean as well which I liked. Mars was a very responsive and helpful host and would highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a distance to get to stone town but if you are in no rush theres several available taxis and tuk tuks you can hire. Thanks Mars.

Really lovely apartment with wonderful outside space and air conditioned en suite bedrooms. I loved being able to nip to the beach for my early morning swim and then come back to relax in the pool which, although it's small, was great for cooling off. We managed to have all 4 of us (2 adults plus 2 full sized teens) in at once. Sonia was really welcoming and very helpful, always responding quickly to queries both before and during our stay. She also gave us handy info about local restaurants who we could message and have deliver to the apartment which was perfect for us. Eating on the terrace every night was great. All in all a lovely week in a beautiful apartment with a great host. Thank you
