Casa Aguacatal is a fantastic place to stay! The beautiful views and cozy atmosphere made for a peaceful and refreshing escape, filled with deep serenity and quiet joy. The stunning scenery, the jacuzzi, the temazcal, and the pool with a view of the volcanoes and the lake were all unique, creating precisely the vibe we were looking for. I must mention the amazing guardian, who was very kind throughout our stay. Thank you, Carolina! Your place is incredible, and we’ll be back.

Our stay was perfect! The cabin is beautiful and with such beautiful character! The cabin was immaculate and Leah has certainly paid attention to detail! Leah was an amazing host and very responsive when we needed her ! Can’t wait to come back and stay again !!

Un lugar muy tranquilo para descansar y tiene salida al lago fácilmente, estuvimos muy cómodos, y Jonathan es muy accesible siempre.

La verdad el anfitrión es muy claro y atento a cualquier duda. Sin embargo, considero que no está en la mejor ubicación y el acceso no es cómodo

Richard was an amazing host very kind and understanding when we needed him to pick us up at the dock he was already ready and quick to come pick us up his breakfast was so delicious and the views where unforgettable we truly felt isolated and at home in his beautiful cabin in the woods it was a nice hike up I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who's looking to be isolated in peaceful tranquility i will definitely be returning sooner than later

Me gustó mucho que la cabaña quedara también a 5 minutos de San Pedro, ya que pudimos visitar ambos pueblos y caminar sin problema. Siempre hay Tuc Tuc disponibles y no tuvimos ninguna mala experiencia. Tomamos lanchas públicas para ir a Santiago y a Pana, todo salió muy bien.

El alojamiento es perfecto. Excelente vista, cómodo, nos sentimos como en casa.

Un lugar increíble, con una vista increíble. Se encuentra fuera del centro a 5 min, en la parte alta, por lo que lo único que se escucha son las aves cantar. Marcos fue muy atento en todo momento y nos brindo un espacio para parquear el carro justo frente al lago y poder recorrer el pueblo a pie, lo que hizo aún mejor la experiencia.

El alojamiento estuvo muy bien, parece un poco pequeño pero está bien. El anfitrión es amable y responde rápido. Por el área sería bueno que lleven repelente de mosquitos. Las camas son cómodas y espaciosas, cumple con todo lo descrito. Gracias por permitirnos alojarnos.

The view was breathtaking, and the cabin was warm and inviting. Staying at Cerro de Oro was a truly special experience. I was captivated by the constant melodies of the birds and the stunning rocks that decorated the surroundings. It's such a wonderful place to unwind and connect with nature. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is the perfect nook for a single person or 2 guests. You can walk to everything, and it is safe. If you want a bit more of the Guatemalan experience, stay here! Be mindful of weather. Cabin does not have A/C or heat. We personally loved it, and the temperature inside the cabin was perfect. It only has a small fridge and coffee maker. This is ideal for those that do not want to cook or have to deal with any cleaning up. We highly recommend walking over by the park, there is an area where the local set up grills/food stands at night. This is where we had our best meals. Perfect cabin, will definitely return.

We really loved our stay here. The view is amazing with lots of windows and the kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need. The location is also perfect with the house being right next to the best beaches in San Pedro. Juan was also very responsive and accommodating. We hope to return soon. Gracias!

Great cabin with amazing views over lake atitlan. Would recommend for a chill stay! The host was very laid back and they even shipped my camera which I had left behind there to me which I appreciated so much ❤️

Staying at Michelle’s place was great. Located perfectly between San Marcos and tzununa allowed for access to the towns while also a quiet and retreat, and space to get work done. If you have a chance head to tzununa on mondays to take a farm tour of Atitlan Organics and other permaculture projects. The cats were wonderful especially Oscar!

Great place! A little bit away from the town-so getting a tuk tuk can be a little challenging but not too hard. Place was clean and unique! Luis was great at communicating!!

Incredible stay. Delightful and helpful hosts. Every town in Atitlan will offer you something different, Santa Cruz is very peaceful and relaxing on the lakeshore, and largely untouched by tourists in town. This stay is a perfect balance of private and public: you have your private guest house with everything you need, and a shared sun/hammock area and dock. There are other people around, either relaxing in designated common areas or working on the property, but never seemed odd or problematic. Very respectful people. Communal living energy, could be odd to Westerners. I loved it. There will be some bugs downstairs, but not too big a deal, and were not noticed in the bedroom. Keep an eye for a possible scorpion, but that’s all of Atitlan. Elaine and Lee were super friendly, kind and helpful. They also run the kayak/paddle board business at the dock. If it’s not your vibe, understandable, but if you’re game this is an incredible stay. Would definitely return.

This place was great. Tzununa is a quiet town with stunning nature and views over Lake Atitlan, and this house is a perfect place from which to enjoy it all! The hosts were very communicative and helpful

Es un lugar muy bonito con una vista espectacular y bastante tranquilo, en particular nos gustó mucho tener acceso al lago; el señor Martin fue muy amable y pendiente. El lugar es cómodo y tiene todo lo necesario para la estadía, es importante considerar que algunas camas están en un anexo a la habitación principal. La ubicación está distante de las poblaciones por lo cual es recomendable tener vehículo, incluso para llegar al muelle más cercano.
