Family-friendly holiday rentals in Papeete

Mareva and her husband were great. She stayed on top of our travel plans making sure we made it. We got there super late. Got our car and had trouble finding the house. Michael (her husband) came right away and found us and led us to the house. It’s upstairs so you’ll need to carry your luggage up. It wasn’t a big deal. They helped us. Even though it was so late (2am) Mareva and Michael got the ferry schedule and helped us figure out when we needed to leave to go to Moorea. Then they got up early and led us there and helped to get our tickets and they were able to get us a discount. We stayed one night and it was just a few hours. Everything was like in the description.

We loved our stay in this pristine paradise — an incredible view and gorgeous home with an unparalleled view! Moorea is a largely undeveloped gem that is interesting, gorgeous and peaceful. We loved our visit!

The location of the residence is perfect, close to the beautiful Tipaniers beach and many snacks. The residence itself perfectly met our expectations, the gym and swimming pools are a real plus. The accommodation is quite cozy and the jacuzzi very appreciable… As for the Tahiti Homes agency, communication was smooth throughout our stay. Laina and Maryne have always been very responsive and they were able to respond very effectively to the small problem we had with the dishwasher. I recommend it and we will not hesitate to come back for a future stay.

This is a beautiful apartment with a wonderful sea view. The location on the black sand beach was very nice, and we enjoyed using the hotel facilities: pool, spa, bar, restaurant. Thank you to our host for their clear instructions, and their responsiveness when we had questions. We would highly recommend this place to stay in Tahiti.

Thierry was very welcoming, both discreet and caring but available at the slightest need. Very good location. The studio is bright and has everything you need (we stayed 2 weeks). The outside with its pool was really nice. He has two dogs that need to be watched when entering and leaving, but he takes care of them when he is there. They may bark a little but are not annoying. Great stay at Thierry's ☀️

The place is beautiful, very quiet, in the greenery and overlooking the sea. The accommodation is comfortable and well-equipped. Magalie is adorable and always ready to be of service. A little far from the city and the sea so a vehicle is a must. We highly recommend it.

A Dream Stay – Highly Recommended! I had the pleasure of spending a week in this wonderful accommodation, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed. The host, [Host's Name], was incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided me with great tips for local restaurants and attractions that made my stay even better. The apartment itself was spotless and tastefully decorated. The amenities left nothing to be desired – from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. I particularly enjoyed the terrace, where I could sip my morning coffee while taking in the city view. The location is perfect! Within just a few minutes' walk, you can reach the Harbour , from where you can quickly access all the major sights. Additionally, there are plenty of cafés and shops nearby that made my stay even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation

Very pleasant stay in a home perfectly in line with the listing. Everything is provided for the comfort of travelers, nothing is missing. The sea view is simply magnificent and brings a real sense of well-being to everyday life. The environment is quiet, relaxing, ideal for a getaway by the sea. The jacuzzi is a real plus, especially appreciated for relaxing facing the ocean. Although everything was arranged remotely, communication with the host was smooth, efficient and reassuring. Access to the accommodation was without difficulty thanks to clear and precise instructions. We fully enjoyed our stay and would gladly go back. An address that we recommend without hesitation to those looking for calm, comfort and beautiful views!

Really nice place, we stayed a week. The lagoon is amazing and access is easy. Mark is very helpful and a really nice guy. We will definitely be back, and would recommend this place to anyone.. very family friendly

Stayed 1 week at the Yellow house with my husband and 3 children. I loved the location on Opunohu Bay. The house is right on the water so when you look down out the kitchen windows you can see sharks, rays and tons of fish. Across the bay is Moorea activities and we booked a jet ski tour to go around the island which was a highlight of the trip for us all. The house is located in close proximity to two great hiking spots (but you will need a car to reach) Magic Mountain and Belvedere lookout. I would definitely say a car is a must if you stay here but you could spend your time swimming right out front of this house. We brought inflatable standup paddle boards and our kids were launching out every morning and evening. This house was equipped with fans only, they do not currently have a/c. The kitchen was nicely stocked with a brand new oven and a propane stove. The indoor bathrooms could use a window but I would definitely recommend this house to others.

The most ideal place to stay in Moorea. Quiet, tidy and simple setup with all the things you need to have a relaxing holiday. Ended up staying an extra night it was that relaxing! We brought a coffee percolator from home to make brews and have a relaxing morning with baguette from the store and fruit from side of the road. Saved us from having to drive out everyday if that suits your style. Had brekkie on the private deck out the back. However driving around to other places seemed convenient from Marks place if that is what you prefer. Kayak hire was very convenient and lovely. Mark has it dialled with a little cart so you can bring it across the road to get to the lagoon - Nice little snorkel to check out some sea life after a 8-10 minute paddle out. In all - a lovely stay, lovely vibe, lovely host and crew that run Marks Place. Look forward to staying again :)

What a meeting. I came with two of my friends for fifteen days to Mark's. Mark and his wife were always present when we needed something and always at discretion. Every home has been built from Mark's hands and each of his homes are artwork. The place overlooks the mountains and we are only a hundred meters from an access to the lagoon. Rent a kayak and cross the lagoon you will most certainly see dolphins in their 20s play, jump, swim. In short, thank you Mark for this welcome and this moment of fullness. Life is beautiful. We loved our bungalow and the beautiful setting all around it. Convenient to walk to a grocery store and a couple restaurants. Mark is very friendly and welcoming. Great spot!

We had the best stay at marks place, a true home away from home. Him and his family are wonderful hosts, and help you get the most out of Moorea. We stayed with our 7 month old baby and the place couldn’t have been better. The house is so homely, the photos really don’t do it justice! The section is a slice of paradise, set away from the hussle and bussle, the perfect spot to relax. Our home was cleaned daily which was such a treat! We also found our favourite food spots on the whole island were nearby, and the most beautiful beach is about 10 minutes drive. Marks place is the perfect spot for excellent surfing. He also had kayaks, scooters and bikes for you to use. 10/10 stay we will be back again!

Excellent stay of a month in this beautiful house on the heights of Puna'auia. The accommodation is very pleasant to live in, well equipped and has stunning views of Moorea and beautiful sunsets. It is ideally located in a very quiet neighborhood and close to many amenities. Magali is an ideal hostess, very available and responsive, from the welcome to departure. Thanks a lot for a great stay!

Very nice stay. The pool is great. We enjoyed it very much. Only small hitch: the path is not listed in the GPS and it sends us to the mountain, because another road has the same name. Otherwise it was great. Very nice owner and his cousin too. Very considerate. We recommend it.

We are on site for 7 months, and we are happy to be in this residence the pool and gym are nice, you have to walk 20 minutes before being in the center. We are happy

This is great location to post up a few days and explore anywhere on the island. You can walk to one of the best grocery stores in Tahiti.

Michele and Pierre were gracious hosts. So friendly and welcoming, always checking on our comfort. The facilities were better than portrayed in the photos! Our family also loved having the use of the pool. Thank you Michele and Pierre for a wonderful stay.

The host was great, even though we had a rental car he met us at the airport, helped us sort our car and we flowed him back to the apartment, we may have struggled with out his help. The apartment was well kitted out with everything we needed and looked exactly like the pics and description. well something to note is that the pin on the good map is not the exact location, we had some late evening returns so it helps to pin your location while at the house. we had a small issue with the gate being locked one night but a quick call to the host and he talked us through it. we had to park outside as the booking doesn't include an inside park. it's first in first serve and if you get back late you may have to park a short walk away but it was mostly fine. all in all we had a great stay! The poll was great and neighbour's quiet. The host was really great, easy to get hold of and fixed any issues we experienced during tje stay really quickly. Would reccomend the host and apartment
