Our self-contained studio is situated away from the main house and is ideal for a couple, solo adventurers, and business travellers. We provide a comfy bed and continental breakfast. The studio has beautiful views across farmlands to the Tararua Mountain Ranges and sea views the other side. A 10min stroll takes you to our picturesque beach, via scenic walkways. Peka Peka Beach is great for swimming, walking, or just sitting and relaxing. There are masses of tracks and trails accessible from here and within the Kapiti area, for biking and walking or tramping. A trip to Kapiti Island from Paraparaumu, is a must for nature lovers. For those wanting a more relaxed stay, there are really good cafes and restaurants nearby. Harrison's Garden Cafe in Peka Peka, is great and there is a good variety of eateries at Waikanae Beach. The Shoreline Cinema in Waikanae Township, 5 mins drive away, also for coffee and cake, or well selected wines.

The guest suite occupies the downstairs portion of our house. It is self contained with a private entrance from a deck leading to the garden. It has a large master bedroom, a lounge with kitchenette & separate bathroom. The bathroom is bright, light & has modern fittings with shower, WC & vanity. The lounge includes a sofa bed, window seat, dining area & kitchenette, with facilities to self cater if required. There is a garden gate which gives access to the nature reserve, river and beach.

You couldn't be in a better spot at Paraparaumu beach. located in a quiet street, with off road parking and plenty of privacy in our little cottage which is great for couples or a single person who are wanting to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet together. There are 9 steps down to the little cottage so, it's no good for anyone who has a physical impairment like wheelchair or walker. The bathroom is between the bedroom and kitchen, but this can be closed off from each end for privacy.

The Annexe was a wonderful space for our little family to have an Autumn beach escape. Angela was friendly, helpful and accomodating, and we felt right at home. We loved the peaceful location: walking distance from the beach and campfire sauna, and a tiny drive from the playground and village.

Second time staying there. A great over nighter. A warm welcome by hosts Fee and Gra and their dog Piper. Make you feel right at home. Relaxed in the spa after walking our dog to the beach behind the house, then nice quiet evening indoors. Love coming to this place. Easy to maintain and you have own place and space. We enjoyed our stay, surrounded by a beautiful garden and at walking distance from the beach, restaurants and bakery. Neighboring a reserve at the back was a bonus, so we had more space to play ball games. It was a great place to rest and relax, indoor or outdoor. Board games available to play when it rained. One thing to note is that the bedroom upstairs, although private, it doesn't have a door to block any noise from downstairs. It is a cute cottage with lots of space for everybody.

Our stay for the last weekend of the school holidays was PERFECT im glad we made the trip to Ōtaki for a family reunion we enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return again the fire made the place so cosy when you could sit around it with the beach in your view there was lots of space, games were a hit for the kids although we didnt spend most of our time soaking up the beautiful surroundings we had a great experiences, it didnt end there waking up and having the beautiful beach right there was an absolute bonus from sunset to sunrise was stunning!!!
