The entire cottage and yard are available to guests. There is space for a car in the yard, I recommend renting a car, the driving time is only an hour from the center of Rovaniemi. The cottage is located in a beautiful place by the river. Forest and nature are within walking distance and there is a public campfire place nearby where you can go and fry sausages and enjoy the campfire. In winter, you can look at the stars in the sky and search for the northern lights from the large windows of the cottage. The cottage has a sofa bed that is 140 cm wide.

Within a radius of about a half-hour drive, Kivalo, Kaihuanvaara, Auttiköki, Soppaan, and Korouoma hiking trails are located. From almost the door, there's a ski track and a snowmobile trail. Also nearby is the fishy Simojärvi. It's less than an hour to the village of Ranua and the zoo. Rovaniemi and Kemijärvi drive for 1.5 hours. The nearest shops can be reached in half an hour.

Arttur's fish cottage is a traditional log cabin located in the middle of a forest away from the services. To Rovaniemi 72 km, to Kemijärvi 40 km. If you're comfortable on your own and enjoy a simple life in the middle of nature, this stay is for you. Here you will enjoy the silence and darkness without light pollution. If you're lucky, you'll get to admire the Northern Lights from the home yard. Around the cottage, you can fish, hunt, and hike. We rent snowshoes.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.

Washing machine and dryer also available. Outdoor sauna also available. Distance from the town about 35 km. Very good opportunities for snowmobiling and ice fishing. Hunting on state lands (with a permit). Netflix available. Tap water is good and drinkable.

The house is located in a quiet place in the middle of nature on the shore of Lake Siika-Kämä, 58 km (50 minutes by car) from the center of Rovaniemi. Opportunity to go outside and walk on the lake ice. Northern Lights can also be seen if the weather permits. An atmospheric house on the shore of the Kemijoki River

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.
