Casa do Douro is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. The single house, duplex, has a common room on the 1st floor equipped with a complete Kitchenette, TV and Wi-Fi. It has a generous balcony with a table, next to the living room with a fantastic view of the Douro River, widely used for meals and at the end of the day. Visit a traditional Douro Valley estate!

Charming granite cottage in beautiful surroundings

Discover the untouched surroundings of the northern Portuguese countryside. Our "quinta" is located in a non-touristic area with lots of possibilities for hiking. At 3km is the river with possibility for canoeing. It’s perfect for discovering the local atmosphere of authentic villages and surrounding areas. Despite our rural location, basic services such as a good restaurant and a mini market are present. The country house has 3 separate guest facilities with a total capacity of 8 people.

Casa da Quinta do Magriço is set in a 1-hectare space of manicured gardens and Port wine vineyards, where guests can stroll and enjoy the many romantic corners for rest or reading. The view over the Douro and its mountains is breathtaking. It has a 12m long swimming pool surrounded by beautiful trees with the Douro in the background. It has an equipped kitchenette and breakfast is left at the house. All spaces are for the exclusive use of the two guests of the House.

Relax Container

Last minute PROMOTION: Free JACUZZI for all reservations between 14th and 18th o June! The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).

River View Cottage is located at the highest point of our hilly estate rising above the left bank of the River Douro. The magnificent views from the balcony will take your breath away! The 200 year old stone cottage has recently been refurbished with all the modern amenities necessary for your comfort. The cottage sits within a fully operational wine & fruit farm offering a first hand view into a local farming operation while enabling rest & relaxation.

Ideal country house for those looking for tranquility and contact with nature, located in the former community barn known as Lages de Sangemil, it offers an unobstructed view of the verdant valley where the terraced vineyards from which the famous wine of Dão de Penalva do Castelo is extracted stand out. If you're in the mood for nature, relaxation or outdoor activities... Casa Raposa's lodges are made for you. Our 30m2 lodge is a large open-plan living area with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. The bathroom is enclosed for added privacy :) Enjoy a 20m2 south-facing terrace all day long. A morning snack is included in the price (fresh bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea, orange juice).
