Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Penebel

It’s hard to put into words how wonderful our stay was. This was a big trip for my grandmothers 89th bday. Six women and a baby traveling from the US. Chika did above and beyond helping find the best restaurants, spa’s, shopping, drivers, temple’s…etc The home is absolutely stunning with so many personal touches. The backyard view with the pool is exactly what you want when visiting Bali. Her staff was the sweetest, breakfast was delicious. I would absolutely book here again and recommended to anyone going. We are so grateful to have been able to stay here and experience Ubud’s beauty.

Great host, beautiful place! It was a very nice stay overall. Host Manik was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the two adorable cats Happy and Lili who were very well behaved and affectionate. Expect about 3-5 minutes of walking from the car park to the villa. It’s a nice tranquil walk off the beaten path passing by a garden, but it may be slightly inconvenient with toddlers or wheelchairs. But overall I still highly recommend this villa.

My family of 4 with 2 young kids stayed for two full months and Dewa and the whole staff treated us like family. On several occasions Dewa went way out of his way to help us and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best stay. We rented a fence to go around the pool to make it safer for the kids cost around $100 cad/month. Dewa set us up with scooter rentals and they were there ready on our arrival. The cleaning ladies were so sweet with my kids and not having to clean was a highlight of my trip. They also provided all the drinking water. The area has one nice restaurant within about 5 min walk through the rice fields and another 10 mins along the busy road. Was very happy over all and would recommend.

The villa is beautiful to stay in. It had a very peaceful vibe, eye catching art and beautiful balinese furnishings, in amongst the rice fields. Very clean. A perfect spot to stay at, away from the hustle and bustle of what is Ubud is now. Agustin (house manager) and housekeeping staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. They delivered some groceries (and beer!), organise drivers and bikes for us. Communication was no problem. They made our stay there so easy! At the street address there is no sign (that we could read anyway) to know that you are there. The house is hidden at the back in the fields so you need to follow the small path down, to the right, then up the 2nd to the left. Turn left at the path T intersection at the top. Though the lovely housekeeper ended up finding us and escorted us with our bags up to the villa. I loved watching the fieldman shoo gaggles of ducks into new paddocks. Beautiful sunrises 🥰

Besides having the absolute best and most comfortable bed out of any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, the place is so cute and cozy. The out door layout of the kitchen/patio makes the place feel really big. Walkable location to downtown Ubud, overall the place is perfect for long and short term stays. The hosts are also so kind and responsive, they brought me fresh fruit twice which was completely unexpected and appreciated . I would be back in a heart beat.

Had the best time at AIR. The apartment is so much bigger than expected and really comfortable. The location is great for the centre of Ubud while being out of the way enough to also be quiet. But by far the best thing was the interaction with other guests and the community vibe AIR has - breakfast conversations and evening hang outs (while feeling totally at ease being able to have my own space when needed). Whether you’re a creative or not, this place felt so welcoming.

*This Penthouse is super amazing, the facilities and amanities were top notch. Supreme location in between berawa and seminyak (close to lots of high recommended coffee shop and resto, not far from beach and some famous bali beach club). Eventhough located between the busy area in Bali, at night is so quite and calming. Will absolutely going back to this place!

Nyoman is a very caring and cool host. I came to Ubud for the first time, but I was so happy. He cleaned right away and accepted feedback right away. And he always tried to communicate with me and gave me a lot of information. He’s a very honest man to know. There will be good accommodation and delicious food. I’ll be back next year. We stayed in Mundak - it was very special the surrounding area was majestic the cabins were beautifully fitted. And we did some great trekking and we are very pleased we chose Munduk villas - the only thing it is definitely quite a lot cooler and there’s nothing to do in the evenings - we were fortunate and we had a television in the room which provided Netflix and u tube thank you everyone for making our stay special

We really enjoy our time in this cozy house. It was a perfect escape to nature! Located just five minutes away from the center of Ubud to north, which was really convenient for us to enjoy rice terraces and waterfall rides avoiding Ubudian traffic👌

Harumi is a super attentive host! He was always smiley and helpful anytime I needed anything. I loved the area where is located, (definitely less busy than Canggu center), and loved the pool area where I could swim most of my days ☺️ I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who travels solo or with their partner! If I’m back in Bali I wouldn’t hesitate to book my stay here again.

The cabin is set in a peaceful environment, with well-maintained gardens and lush surrounding forests. While it feels remote, it’s actually close to a small village, where friendly locals can be seen tending to their farms during walks. The cabin itself is thoughtfully arranged — simple, functional, and comfortable. The bedding is cozy, there’s plenty of hot water for showers, and the quiet nights filled with the sounds of nature make for a restful sleep. The host is warm and attentive. Despite the language difference, they took the time to share helpful information and responded quickly whenever we had questions or needs. Overall, this is a wonderful place for those seeking calm, relaxation, and a sense of inner peace.

Absolutely beautiful place with an amazing view! Everything was fresh and clean. The location is great, though the road to get there is a bit tricky, so just be prepared for that. The house was very well equipped with everything you might need, including thoughtful touches like little snacks and drinks. I really appreciated the attention to detail. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

Es impresionante el lugar, mucho mejor que las fotos, llegamos lloviendo y de noche y ya nos encantó pero al levantarnos nos quedamos sin palabras, es un lugar que no se puede describir hay que verlo y vivirlo, sin duda alguna, es uno de los mejores alojamientos en los que he estado. Muy recomendable porque está a muy poca distancia de la bulliciosa Ubud pero en un lugar super relajante

Everything was good, some of the staff didn’t speak much English. Everyone tried their best. Outdoor Spa/massage was amazing
